No problem at all and thanks for watching it. I'm fortunate to be a drummer as well so when I think of guitar parts I'm thinking of the drums, and vice versa
maaaan I'm so glad you're making these tutorials. Structures is one of those bands that I've always listened to and thought "bruh how the hell did they come up with that".
Haha I appreciate that Jim! Glad you’re watching the videos and I appreciate it. If you have suggestions for videos you’d like to see let me know! Thanks!
As a songwriter who started out on drums, I have to say that this vid is perfect for those new to drum programming! 5:00 is a very interesting piece of advice that I've never heard before and might try some day
Thank you! Just a little bit of information I haven’t heard others mention before that I see almost every time I track a drummer haha. Thanks for watching
Oh yeah I forgot logic has a stock drum vst. That’s cool. ML Sound Lab also has a free drum VST that’s actually really good. Pretty sure it has a china
Hope this all helps! Let me know here of any topics you’d like covered. Thanks for watching!
This is a topic that most metal songwriters I feel overlook, especially if you're a guitarist like me. Thanx so much for this video super Helpful!

Yo bro, mind telling me how to write snare rolls? Been racking my brain the whole week, couldn't seem to find any ways, the rolls I wrote suck ;[
Just make every other one a bit hard and gradually ramp them up in velocity I’d say. Lmk how that works out
