- In this video, we hike to Seealpsee from the parking place where we stayed for the night in our camper. This hike is, at the beginning, and end, fairly steep, but on a wide road/path. After reaching the lake, we walked around it and visited the Alp cheese dairy.
We stayed at a huge parking area at the foot of the mountains. The fee for 24 hours is very low, it was CHF 5 in 2024.
The parking guard will check if you park close to the other campers, so you have to!!

How long did it take to get to the lake? An hour?
Yes, it's doable in an hour if you are really fit and without breaks. It's fairly steep at times so more likely it takes one-and-a-half hours from the parking lot to the first glimpse of the lake, which is about 2,5 kilometres. And, thanks for watching our video!!
