I had a Jimny when i was in Northern Japan for duty. it was 2 & 4WD and it had a 2-stroke motor, yep, I had to put the Green oil into a reservoir inside the engine compartment. It was a soft-top and I loved it, back in 1987.

Jimmy is a very good and affordable offroader from Suzuki this is a new version of Jipsy but not yet launched in India , if this launch in India then it will be a very big competition to Mahindra Thar , Force Gurkha these two have become very popular in India i don't know why Suzuki is not launching this in India

@@AlexisChateau Precisely, the second generation jimny was available in the states as the samurai, a giant smear campaign was launched to spread news that the samurai would flip easily (they were incredibly hard to flip, especially compared to american offerings) and to provide proof they drastically modified the samurai would that it would flip, which killed the car in the american market
@@rostundradau3442 I'm aware. I'm Jamaican, so we still have old Samurais and new Jimnys on the road. We also have the Escudo and a few other Suzuki jeep-style vehicles. Thankfully, the smear campaign didn't reach us there. I learned to drive on a Samurai and an Escudo. Now, I have an FJ. 😊

This is so fun to watch!! And I really love the video about things I don´t love about my Jimny:-))) It is exactly how it feels to sit in the seat of my Jimny;-9, couldent have sad it better But I love my Jimny exactly for that... that Is also what peopel and frinds are talking about, some dosent understand the choice for a 4 wheel car, and some are so exiting and asking for if I want to sell it.

Yes no electric windows 😁, doors are opened using only a key 👍. It is ok for me but the beginning was a little bit hard 😉

Hello mate, I wanted to ask you. when you bought the car, you took out the iron divider between the seats and the trunk. when you took it out, were you able to move the driver's seat a little further back? because I'm 2 meters tall and I can't fit
Damn good question , 2m is tall for a Jimny but I have seen another reviewer once who was same size and he could fit in good 😁
Have you had issues with thin paint?
Yeah don't have to scratch it hard to get into the metal. 😅

@@S9RUT nope , buddy could Xpel it for me , would be around 5000€. Ceramic coating is good but not gonna keep it from paint scratches if you in the woods have twigs all over the place.
If i sand it down myself , i can have it repainted for only 1500€ so 😁.

Normal gearing it's rear wheel drive , but you can set it to 4x4 low and 4x4 high 😁

Air intake is the real game changer 😉. Exhaust does also help but only on higher rpm's 😊

Had clutch issues with ours. They tried twice to fix the problem but did not resolve it. So would not live with it so binned it off. Shame really.

It's carbon fiber so pretty expensive , about 400€. But the sound is awesome! And very easy to install.
@@LifeofSmokey Compared to my last 4x4, a Land Rover 90" Td5, the Jimny has a lot of electronics that l don't like, ie lane assist, stability control, traction control, tire pressure monitor, electric windows, the little dash display, l'm sure you get the picture, one thing missing which to me is a serious omission is a proper engine temperature gauge, is there an answer for that?
@@clooperman3745 hahaha those are just my thoughts 😂. I hate lane assist , traction control and all of those other gizmo's! The only thing i miss is also a good frikking temperature gauge 😁

@@jean-lucbernois2211 nah air filters and exhaust will not do anything noticeable in horsepower when it keeps sucking air from inside the engine bay 😌
