Great video! I bought a charger for my laptop from Ugreen and I recommend it because it is smaller and lighter than Apple's and it has more ports. Make sure to check the power output on your original MacBook charger and get one with the same power output or higher
Love the video. Just a thought. I have one mic lead but an xlr to Jack adaptor for those mixers without an xlr input. It takes up less space. Great content.
Love these videos! I remember watching one of these you made a while back. As far as bags go I use a DB bag. Pricey, but I’m able to take my own controller and everything else I need in the one bag and I can use it as a backpack. Such a great bag so I’d recommend those 🙌🏼 I’ve got some loop ear plugs that I use and I definitely notice a difference when I finish my set when I use them. Sometimes I just want to hear the tunes blaring out though 😆 And I’ve got that microphone as well, thanks to your recommendation. Just haven’t got the switch, but it’s most definitely a top class mic 🙌🏼🔥
Oh mate I’ll have to check out DB for a bag!! Not heard of them before! Thanks for watching as ever mate. I can’t lie my hearing isn’t great after so many years but I just can’t help but love my music loud 😂😂
I’m not a fan of the MacBook airs for Dj’ing. I’m sure it’s perfectly fine to use but something about a Mac not having fans inside scares me me. Im currently using the MacBook Pro M2 and it’s a beast. Also upgraded the storage. Good vid mate
Quick question: How many tracks do u how in a playlist for usb sticks using rekordox? I'm looking for the best way to navigate tracks on cdjs. i was thinking maybe 20 to 30 tracks per playlist.

Ah good tips thank you for sharing! Will have to check out that brand of charger for sure!

Thanks for the video! My first gig is coming up in 3 months so this type of content really helps!
Glad it was useful and best of luck for your first gig!!

It varies massively, some of my playlists have hundreds of tracks.
@djkarlthomas Thanks. I'll probably go 30 to 40 tracks.
