Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest man among those born of women. John saw himself in the light of who Jesus is: not even worthy to loose His sandal. From the womb, he was filled with the Spirit, continually pointing people to Christ. Let's consider this powerful prophet, his ministry, and the message he preached.

I am thinking of the faith Of John the Baptist's mom. She fully admitted Jesus was Lord while He was yet in the womb. Her faith isn't spoken of much. I just noticed it today. Such an amazing faith

John , in the water of the womb , leaps for joy in the presence of Our Lord in the womb.
Both are in water again , when the Holy Spirit decends and the Father voices His approval of this EXTRAORDINARY rescue misson .

Yes.
Jesus was sinless BUT He actually BECAME sin for us on that heartbreaking , blessed cross.
And so , in anticipation , baptism .

I was listening to your preaching but, I was a bit bothered by what you said that the son is represented by a dove? Wasn’t it auposed to be the Holy Spirt?

If you were listening he clearly intended to say holy spirit. He was making the point that all three parts of the Godhead were there. He misspoke once.
