- Friday The 13th Part One - Filming Locations . Yup my second time in Blairstown NJ. A quick little video showing the town that started it all. Wasn’t planning on making a video about it this location but I got a couple of emails asking me to and I was in the area and I’m a damn sucker for requests...if I’m close by that is💀😈

I visited there in 2005 in late October and got a newspaper where they spoke about the 25th anniversary of the movie. I even found Moravian cemetery. I love finding locations for my old movies like this.
The fight scene at the end between the girl and Jason's mom is one of the best scenes in cinematic history! Could you believe no Oscar nomination for Kevin Bacon in the movie?!

I always wondered why the first film looked so different compared to the other films, especially part 3, which looked dryer and hotter, which makes sense since it was filmed in California. The first film definitely had its own vibe thanks to the filming location. I so badly want to visit this part of the states.

Was here yesterday for a full tour of the campsite. I got a video of me walking thru the tunnel downtown.
Man Scott I wish I knew you were doing a filming location on Friday the 13th. I would have came out to meet you cause I live 20 minutes from Blairstown/Hope NJ. Of all filming locations in the Friday the 13th series, this camp, Nobebosco aka the very first Crystal Lake, this one in Blairstown is my favorite. The town, the pond and the cabins look frozen in time. It could still be 1980. I love the sleepy look and feel of it and its why whenever i want some Friday the 13th - i always go to the original. It is my favorite for that reason....1980 & then the 2009 reboot- i actually loved that one even though its not filmed at the original camp.
Wow, never knew it was filmed in NJ. My sister lived in either Riverside/Woodside cant remember the correct name. Was the best holiday I ever had .... saw NJ , New York, The Bronx, Brooklyn and Philadelphia, never thought I could cram so much in ten days. Saw the Rocky statue which was amazing but didant get to run up the steps 😤 . ... Adriaaaannnne!!!!! 🤣♥️

I've seen some videos.on them, it's pretty cool they are still there. They gotta be pretty dilapidated. Or maybe they take care of them. I know I've seen an in-depth location of part 6. The cabins are in pretty rough shape.
