It feels like table tennis is elevated / elevating to a new and different level.
Sure there are other players involved in this process but due to the limitation of material and the video length and due to my own players preferences I choose Liu Shiwen, Ding Ning, Ma Long and Zhang Jike as representatives of this dawn of a new age in table tennis.

fingerboard03Thank you! Good question. There was once a video on youtube. Don't remember to well, I think it was one with a russian title, and it seemed to be a promotion video of Butterfly for their best know athletes. Sorry that I can't help more.

Côté européens, je vois de grosses performances de Ovtcbarov et Freitas...

This video is made in 2013, and I saw this in a TTforum. I don't understand why he used tha clips of the matches that Li won to tell people she is the past. Ok, no offence. The poly ball may be one reason that Li lost a game, but I should say for any match, the result depends on the state of Li Xiaoxia herself. If she is not in good condition, others will have a new chance.
I never said Li is the past ;) I choose 4 players as a representation of a generation of players (including Li). It's true that I do videos following my preferences of players (and only this way I'm able to do my videos because if I spend many, many hours doing one of these I can stay with it only if I'm really into the story I'm telling) but I wouldn't say I don't like Li. I have (to have) all respect for her accomplishments. And with her the other two simply played awesome rallies.
To quote my description of the video (because I kinda knew that others have other "player-preferences"): It feels like table tennis is elevated / elevating to a new and different level. No need to reply. To be honest I also made videos myself. And I know how much time one will spend to do a video and how to tell a story. But this video is still not enjoyable for those who like Wang Hao and Li Xiaoxia. Not because of the rallies you choose are all they lost, but that you always set one person as the target. Wang Hao is ok, at least he lost to Zhang Jike. But Li Xiaoxia is not treated fairly. New age doesn't means you beat only one person in one match, and it's even more ridiculous that you deliberately choose the points she lost from a match she won.
You have shown strong bias not only in this video. I intended to speak to you long before, but I didn't.
I just don't agree with your way of telling story. You're telling your illusion to others. Japan said for many times that we will beat China in 2020 Tokyo Olympic. If you see any TV documentary about Ishikawa Kasumi made by Japanese media, they will edit points that Japanese players win against Chinese players to show the improvement they got, but will also add a footnote about the true outcome of the match.
I don't mean to blame you. PLEASE DO NOT PROMOTE ATHLETES YOU LIKE BY DEBASING THEIR OPPONENT, just praise himself/herself, that's not difficult, right?
green brier I understand your point of view (as you are also a big fan of Li Xiaoxia). I'm sorry, all your points - I already gave you my arguments in those. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. You seem to see it this way - I in another way. But one point I can't let slip through: I do not "debase" anybody - neiher in this video nor in any other video of mine.

George D. personnally i think the new ball will help me a lot, but not good for Xuxin..
GUYS dont make predictions, the new ball is still tested and improved. players will adapt and the game will remain almost the same. Xu xin will not have any problem with the new ball he will adapt to it like all the other players

only a bit. but from what I hear from every player its less spinny and has weird bounce compared to the celluloid ball
