How to repair camp stove with faulty safety lever problem

In this video learn how to fix a camp stove with a defective safety lever. The stove requires the lever to be depressed before the knob can be turned on. With use the lever cam erodes away and does not hold the lever down.
By filing away the cam slot you can fix this problem. Hope this helps you save a few bucks.

Mine locks when there’s no canister .
When I put a canister , it won’t lock at all until later.
I leave the stove outside Florida weather with temperatures going to 90. Is it because is too hot ?
