Hiking LBJ Grasslands Red Trail - Decatur, TX

Went hiking on LBJ Grasslands Red Trail in Decatur, TX.
My review of the hike. Started around 9am on the hike in Texas summer. We all were surprised with some shade on the trail; we thought there was none. Trail heads are marked clearly by color code. Due to recent raining in the area we followed colored ribbons for slight detours where it has flooded. We crossed by a few other people on horses throughout this trail and only got lost once! Total hike was a 9 mile loop which took around 3.5 hours to complete (not counting stopping for lunch). Overall it was an easy quiet hike.
