Hello from Korea! This video really motivated me to play orcane again when this game comes out again! Your points on what you focused on improving as orcane along with some simple stuff like how you learned to ledgehog are some really good points of learning. I really enjoyed this video, and I hope that once this game comes out I can learn to use orcane more effectively instead of missing all my back airs lmao
I wanted to play Maypul for aesthetic purposes, cus I love raccoons. But then I didn't like how fast she is, and I was never that good with the mega fast characters. Being a Melee Young Link, Orcane has a similar floatiness to him that I really enjoy. And now I think he also has my favorite design. Only watching this video made me realize there's still so many things I don't know and want to learn. Only played the game for one evening so far but it's damn fun!
Rivals 2 implementing b reversing and wave bouncing is so sick. Those droplet momentum shifts are gonna be such a cool movement mixup when taken advantage of fully
There's a part of me that gets sad when heavies get nerfed just because it feels like they never truly deserve it, but then I remember Weishan in Icons Combat Arena and sober up.
I'm glad the common consensus on R2 is that the game is awesome but low percents kinda feel like trash, hopefully that'll encourage the devs to make bigger changes to lower percents other than just CC and ASDI down tweaks. Great video!
I enjoyed this video a lot! Crouch cancelling really does make it feel like your only option at low percents is grab, i really hope they tone it down eventually.
I mean, they're making floorhugging require ssdi down for next beta so there's some hope for the game not turning into Down Holding Simulator (I still think cc having startup like in june beta would be ideal for this game don't @ me)
i've no idea who to play on this game, i main Palu on ultimate since day 1 due to her simplicity and being a very good character at the same time. Which is the easiest character to learn on this game and if there's someone remotely as close as Palu? (but being easier to learn and having quick results matters more imo)

knowing that the 10th character is forsburn, i would suggest to SCRAP HIM, HE DOES NOTHING ABOUT LOXODONT AND AS A EXTRA WILL BRING BACK CAKE ASSAULT'S MAIN, SO WE SHOULD REVOKE HIM AND BRING THE SUPERIOR FIRE CHARACTER AND MAKE HIM COUNTER LOXODONT MAKING IT A 90/10 MATCHUP. i mean, mollo deserves it, no?
WAIT WAIT WAIT YOU PLAY BEDMAN??? I have been having the same issue i love bedman and dont know who to play in this game, everybodys been telling me to choose between orcane forsburn and fleet, what would you suggest me from bedman to bedman???
The funny thing is that I’m bouncing between these exact three characters LMAO I’ve been liking Orcane the most out of the three because he has way easier access to kill moves out of the three, which is nice to have since I don’t know consistent routes into kill moves yet. Fors has been very interesting bc of clone, but rn it feels too niche to try and build a gameplan around so he feels frustratingly straightforward.
I’m trying to play orcane in the beta but it’s really hard to keep his momentum with the smash attacks with using tap strong(holding a and the direction at the same time to use a smash). Could u please tell me ur rivals controls
In Rivals I have strong attack set to left trigger which makes it easier to hydroplane while keeping tilt stick. There’s a bit of a learning process but I think it’s very work it
