Surprised they let LH Blake outside. A man that ginger gets sunburnt in seconds!
IR's deck is looking in better shape today than it did in 1999. BZ LAC! 👍
Nice to see someone other than the pilot talking through this.
Exactly. Techs know a lot more about the actual airframe than the pilots, but film crews always seem to want to interview the pilots!
Will a Recon specced Wildcat ever attempt to break the Lynx's Speed Record?
That's mint!
Great little helo. We could use some of those in our navy. Like on the flightdeck of the frigate at 0:15 sec.
Is that Sea Venom operational or just another mock up?
What the frig is he talking about?
Don't the military love talking in little bursts, they rattle out short nonsensical sentences, they all talk the same
My brother is ex army, retired over a decade ago, and he still talks like he's giving a briefing.
I was waiting for the Prozak to kick in
so its fantastic?
Can it carry StarStreak HVM (High Velocity Missile) too?
Is The wildcat an upgrade of the lynx
Yes
I think only 3% is kept from the Lynx but definitely a derivative of it.
Its a brother of it for naval usage. Don't know exact number of parts Commonality, but you could say they are related
Could you please use your technology to show the public some proper UAP footage? Thanks.
Funtastic is all he wants to relate.
Ang going to rake another ten yes to make the ither 5, or is too an ambitious number ?
That loadout, with the M3 on one side and missile stub wing on the other must look very freaky in flight. However it gives a lot of mission versatility.
How long before the military has run out of people to be operational ?
Stupid comment, why even make it? Melt.
5 years😂 it will all be illegal immigrants soon
@@jboydayz Imagine living in a country where immigrants care more about it than the native peoples.
@@CausticLemons7 okay?
@@jboydayz If I were British I'd feel a bit ashamed about the situation. "Okay?" then what was the point of your comment?
Bit more advanced than the whirlwind at Solent SAR in 1974 before the got the Wessex five
Fabric seats? How common.
Right hand steering is not common...except on earth in GB and Japan. Is British airspace set up for right hand drive, too?
@@dthomas9230 It's the standard in helicopters, though. Even in the USA, the captain's seat (pilot in command) is on the right in a helicopter, at least as far back as the Huey from the 1950s. The instrument panel is usually the giveaway.
@@dthomas9230 wild cat is the only helo we use which is like that, all the rest are dual. Not sure why specifically its on the right, but left hand seat is the 'observer'(/navigator/WSO)
As I understand it, what happens is that when aircraft from opposing directions meet, the English or Japanese pilots circle and discuss the potential options in the following manner: Pilot number one says "After you", to which pilot number two says "No, after you" etc. The French and Italians just carry on regardless. @@dthomas9230
Why would the navy adopt a single pilot configuration in a military helicopter 🤷♂️?
Is the wildcat a beefed up lynx?
Basically yes.
Pip Pip!
Why do yanks think that British people say that archaic phrase? I think the last person to actually say that died in 1869.
@@AtheistOrphanand those still say hoorah hypocrites.
HS2 50 Billion wasted
10 Billion could be well spent in the military
The UK 🇬🇧 Government not fit for purpose
Because Labour sure would increase the military budget, not. Plus HS2 was a Labour idea by Gordan Brown back in 2009.
@@hithere3035
So was the Queen Elizabeth Class...
so todays navy you got a tug to pull the helicopter about not getting the wafus pushing and pulling it about
I refer you to the FU part of WAFU 😊
I stick by my comment that is from what i saw when i served on HM warships for 10 years did you serve ??@@JammyDodger45
Sea Venom won't be operational on Wildcat until 2026 due to "integration issues"!!
speak slower and clearer please
It is not Airwoof, i am disappointed.
Literally please buy a proper helicopter rather than lash screens into an mini cooper so it looks good to the boy racer
Define _"proper helicopter"_ in this context, please?
@@discipleaj Obviously Airwoof. 👍
@@davidrobertson5700 Sure.
@@discipleaj what are you a disciple of ? Not common sense is it ?
@davidrobertson5700 Did I hurt your feelings with a very simple question and a one word reply to your initial response? I presumed our exchange had finished.
I'm not a disciple of common sense, eh? Nice one 😂👍🏻
"But what would the Wildcat be used for?"... ferrying Rishi Sunak and his billionaire wife around like all other military aircraft?
You need to paint the ball radar black and then paint a viscious mouth underneath to hark back to aircraft paintings of ww2. Perhaps an angry mickey mouse for lols
Cannot stop rubber boat full of unarmed people.
U get in a rubber boat and we will let it try.
It doesn't have to that is the job of the patrol boats.
Maybe not, but it can vaporise a rubber boat full of armed people....
Like the 1st sea lord says. Not their job. If you want to shoot unarmed refugees, you have the border goons for that. Or the Met to be fair.
@@thetruthhurts7675Haha patrol boats you mean taxis for illegal immigrants
