- Gorges du Tarn | Kayaking to Saint Chély du Tarn
After previously visiting the Gorge du Verdon, this week we explore the Gorges du Tarn, in Southern France. The Gorge du Tarn is a spectacular ravine in the Lozère region of France, and visiting has been one of our best days of vanlife in ages!
After arriving in the Gorges du Tarn, we spent the afternoon almost getting swept away by the current in the river, drinking strange local pints, and petting the local stray cats.
The next morning, we went down the Gorges du Tarn river on a kayaking adventure... Eventually stopping at the waterfall of Saint Chély du Tarn.

Love the video the scenery is so beautiful.
It really is - the whole area is amazing and wasn't busy at all (at least in May).
I really do not know why you do not have more subs… Your videos are very well made, adventurous, informative and humorous!
🥺 thank you! Maybe more will come soon 😂
Cracked me up smacking the baguette! What beautiful places you visit, hoping to get out and do the same with my wife again very soon (just got back from a trip to Portugal, what a lovely place, too).
Hahaha I thought that was hilarious too (Abbie)! 😂 we’ve never been to Portugal 🇵🇹 - would love to get our van there and adventure!
@@DavidandAbbie1 Portugal is so beautiful and so are its people! Would love to see a video of you visiting there. Hope you get to someday!

Gorgeous video, love your humour.
Thank you so much Michelle 😄
Looking cool. I have similar inflatable cruiser. Where did you started ? How much was the taxi ?
We started at Gorges du Tarn Causses (at least that's it on Google Maps!), but honestly I've no idea how much the taxi was now... I don't think it was too bad though!
