Thanks! This is my favorite cosplay. I will be putting out some other vids of crossover, like Super Saiyan DP, Deadpool Jesus, Captain Deadpool, Poolverine, etc. Keep an eye out for it :)
@@reezydrips_drips6823 I agree, unfortunately there is nothing else screen accurate out in the market. I saved for a year for this costume to use for my main cosplay. Ilustra Studios did a great job making the his costume. It really is a great piece but way expensive.
Dude! I hope you’re getting laid at the Cons! Or at least a questionable dangerous old fashion from someone with a screen accurate Wolverine costume.🎉 I’ve cosplayed Deadpool for almost 20 years and made 3 iterations of the costume. It’s been a lot of money and a pain in my ass but I’ve only spent a little over a quarter of what you spent. In retrospect mine started out too pristine as I didn’t know about weathering and distressing but has actually become better over the years due to me rolling around for photo shoots and just being my drunk jackass self in it. This really is a beautiful costume though.
I don’t know how much Ryan paid but a friend of mine was part of the team that made them for Deadpool and Wolverine. She said the suits made for the Deadpool Corps fight were only a few hundred dollars each. My suit cost me just over £1000 but that’s with everything I bought after on Etsy.
Spoke with someone in this suit at C2E2 a few months back, and they are as amazing in person as you see in this video. I just ordered the Comic version from them.
I have several Deadpool cosplays. Some of which I created, others purchased base and upgraded. By far this one is probably the most professional screen accurate version that I own. There is little to nothing you have to do to this other than source or make the props. I would highly recommend that you save up and reach out to ilustra studios if you really want this piece for your collection. Note their turn around time is lengthy but worth the wait. You can reach them on Etsy at www.etsy.com/shop/IlustraStudios or at their website ilustrastudios.com/en.
Amazing quality and attention to detail, lot of hard work, BUT, imo asking around 4K from the general cosplaying community is quite a bit 😅 I’d say it’s worth it but DAMN 😂
I agree its on the higher end. Ilustra Studios did a great job and used top end materials for this costume. I have several Deadpool costumes and imo by far it is the highest quality screen accurate costume you can find in the market. It's not for everyone tho due to the price. I will be doing a review of a more budget friendly costume soon based on the DP & WV movie, but it is not at this level. I am also going to do a few videos in the future doing tutorials on how to build a DP costume out of craft foam with a spandex base layer. Keep an eye out for those :)
Totally agree.... I feel the more you can get out of expressions and motion in the mask, the better it is to depict the character. I have both versions, and the half-shell is so much better.
Trust me I have looked all over and there are two other makers that come close to what Illustra studios has produced, and the cost is a bit higher. The others I have found are much lower quality and the materials do not match what you see on screen. I am however working on sourcing the screen printed 4 way stretch material to make my own version. Will provide an update when I have that. Thanks :)
Thank you! I am in the US, we can certainly have prop (not air-soft) pistols and swords for most conventions so long as there is an orange tip (paint or tape) on the end of the pistol. Swords and other props normally need to be non-metal or very heavy per most con rules. The security at the event will also screen props and mark them with a flag or sticker to denote it is a prop and con-safe. I only use airsoft or other non con-safe items for photoshoots. Hope this helps :)
@@CosplayPhreak Thanks. In Poland people don't care mostly. At most security will check if you have gas in your magazines or if the swords are sharp. PS. Greetings from a 501st Legion Kylo Ren ;)
Thanks. So cool, I am actually in the process of building a 501st Clone Trooper (Rex) for one of my sons and a Halo ODST Recruit for my other son. Been taking some time but getting there. I'll post a vid once completed. Too many projects at work....

How durable is it? I have purchased several masks from ilustra but alllllllways worry about spandexy suits like this. I have a cordova leather suit from costume replica cave from 2016 that is still doing great but, have had a more stretchy suit break down completely after 1 con.
I can't speak to the durability yet. I just got the costume recently. There are some items that lost adhesion and I had to apply some glue to re-attach. But other than that its a pretty solid costume. I will do an update video in a few months to discuss durability in depth.
It took them roughly 4 months to produce the suit and ship it from Spain. Please feel free to reach out to the vendor directly on their etsy page with any questions: www.etsy.com/shop/IlustraStudios
@@CosplayPhreak yeah I can honestly make my own suit for not even half that price. I made my own ranger suit. I cosplay rangers mostly but even an aniki cosplay suit is like 1500$ USD. The seller you purchased from is penny pinching hard af imo. Lol
I agree, it’s overly expensive… but so worth it :) I also have made several screen accurate and comic accurate cosplays at a fraction of the cost. There’s a few vids coming soon going over some of those costumes, keep an eye out for it.
Light soap and water for anything superficial on the surface. I wear an spandex/lycra under-suit and balaclava so that there is little contact from my skin to the suit and the under-suit absorbs any sweat and odors. When I get out of the suit I let it air out and spray non-corrosive anti-bacterial spray on the interior for maintenance. Then wash the under-suit and balaclava.
Sorry, i just started out on UA-cam and it may be the lighting (still working on that), but Illustra studios matched the color and material to the DP1 & DP2 costume. It looks amazing in person.
Looks familiar there... I love the suit, and you're right. It is SUPER comfy at Comic Cons. I use it all the time! Love the Vid!

Absolutely amazing ... color of mask looks off though
Thanks. I know it is slightly off. I ordered the mask prior to the suit. It was just too expensive to do everything at the same time.
Got it. Also thinking about buying a suit and as you said all at once costs a little fortune! Keep it up!
