I bought the Xiaomi 12 pro, upgraded from the Xiaomi 11 t pro. Must say got the positives I was looking for that were missing on the Xiaomi 11 t pro, namely better sharp screen / display and a good camera. However find the battery weaker and phone occasionally heats up on bumping up the brightness (I can deal with this as your review was clear and it's the price I'm willing to pay for a sharp crisp flagship standard display that's important for me ) however was looking for help from you on one issue. I believed that the scrolling was super smooth. I don't experience so. There is a slight stutter on vertical and horizontal scrolling, any suggestions to solve this. Appreciate you guidance and thanking you in anticipation. Regs. Nishit Sapra
Do you consider the placement of the fingerprint reader under the screen again in the 12 vs under the power button in the 11T Pro an upgrade? Is for sure a dealbreaker for me.

In the setting change from adaptive to 120 hz it will force 120 hz on adaptive you will often get a choppy scrolling because it set to 60 if the app isn't optimised eg youtube
How is the speaker quality and loudness compared to 11t pro

Wait for the update for the speakers. When I first bought the Xiaomi 11t pro. The speaker wasn't good. But after the update the speakers will become loud and clear. You really can feel the Harman kardon.
Ok I'm sold. Perfect design, probably the best setup of cameras even at night, and of course Xiaomi.

How much better does LTPO improves the battery life? Besides the cam and larger screen, this is the only significant feature added when compared with the standard variant.

You guys have to reset that volume test properly. Some phones score very good on your website but can't do better in real use. My Vivo X60 Pro did well in your test but very quiet in real use

This is one of the most competent camera setup on a phone I've seen. You can clearly see how much difference the megapixels make. All three cameras have identical megapixels, thus maintaining similar quality with their photos. Outstanding.
Haptic feedback and speakers between 12 pro and oppo find x5 pro?
Not sure about this.. I mean, great review, but pictures "perfectly acceptable" zt 5:20? Those flowers on the snail are totally washed out from previous shots.. just IMHO.. One thing, I am really interested in, does it have two-sim capability or SD slot?? cheers

Probably way too late but for anyone else who's curious yes to both at least the version I'm using does.
Rather the side by side, the dual SIM is on the front and back of the tray which keeps it small.
If recording 8K Video try Convert to HEVC if the phone does have iption in a Camera Settings

guys very good job.. but if you can take pictures of different objects .. it seems like the same pictures for all reviews.. we can't see the real potential of the cameras. 💙
I upgraded to this from a mi 10 note pro. I prefer to buy 1-2 year old flagships vs modern mid range phones for 2 main reasons:
1: they go down in price quickly. I got mine on sale for $680.
2: they last longer for me, my 10 note stayed serviceable up to the day I bought this.
The very small degradation of quality in the ultra wide and telephoto cameras is likely due to the smaller sensor size, despite being all 50MP.
I see it the same way. Thinking about getting it for only 570 euro. However, still not so sure about the battery life. I had bad experiences before with large display. It is kinda annoying that they could get through a day.

@@riva2003 Yeah, my 12 pro's battery life is definitely starting to suffer over time. I still love this phone though, still very snappy and quick and a beautiful screen. The battery isn't all that big of a deal with the 120W charger that can fully charge it in 20 mins.
Even with the battery issue, I'd still strongly recommend it. Mine was brand new when I bought, presumably surplus, on Amazon so the battery was pretty good when I first got it. If you buy used you'll definitely notice reduced battery life though. Either way, if you use the 120W charger, the battery life becomes much less of an issue.
You are NOT CORRECT ! Xiaomi 12 pro have very large sensor, its IMX707. Its larger then most mid range phone sensonrs and higher priced phones TODAY!! So dont WRITE STUPID THINGS>
@@touch_master721 umm idk if you've looked at the back of a 12 pro before then. Only one lens is big and obviously has a huge sensor behind it. The other 2 are smaller. I was referring to the telephoto and ultrawide in comparison to the main lens, not to other phones to answer the point brought up in the video. So maybe either learn proper English or maybe YOU don't write stupid things (since it seems like you didn't even watch the video either).
Bought this 2 months back. Disappointed to see moisture inside main camera glass, even on slight temperature difference. A lot of pictures looked with fog due to moisture inside. Customer care says this is normal. Don't know what to do now.
Insist the warranty repair!

The flagship Pro Xiaomi devices are getting redundant. Either the vanilla variant is cheaper and similar, or the Ultra has much more features to show for the price.

Nice but UK price please ? Mi11 2021 was banging it started at £650 early bird ( i bought it!) or then £750 in the UK, you can only really compare mi11 2021 @ WQHD+ 6.81 with the 12 pro 2022 as its successor, I feel like this line-up has tried to hide a big price increase by adding another model? Xiaomi is not Samsung and apple in the west re sale value is not as good, I can’t see it flying if its £999 this is Samsung S22 plus money, I wanted a mi12 that was an upgrade on last year with a modest price increase, this feels a bit like its going in a one plus direction price wise or even apple!
They target users at all price point. If you don't need some features you can get cheaper models. Like for ppl who just want camera or latest CPU or fast charging. If you want CPU upgrade only, you should wait for the T-series later in the year. Personally I don't change phone till its dead. So resale value not a problem for me.

Coming from a Xiaomi device. One of the most frustrating experience software wise. Lots of bugs... I moved to a pixel and I love it.

Not as good as 11 pro when it was released. I believe Xiaomi wants users to wait for Ultra version, or just buy the vanilla 12 version instead.

I prefer bigger battery, fast charging may good but it increasing charging frequency which shortens battery life in year. A flagship phone should at least 120h of battery endurance rate.

Xiaomi user for about 5 years here, they work fine on GSM carriers like T-Mobile. Just make sure you buy the international version. They make separate versions for china.

It's priced too high considering it doesn't have ip68 and still use usb 2.0
I suspect it doesn't hope to make money from the flagship. Xiaomi's biggest market is in India simply because it's considered an affordable good phone.
Xiaomi have always saved cost by not obtaining a IP certification. Wait for a teardown video to confirm if it does have waterproofing.

Do you know what is the email of it's headquarter? Unfortunately when I searched for an email or contact address, the only contact details given for any country is the ‘service’ department: so I am stuck here with an unreliable phone and seemingly no-one from Xiaomi who can help. I DO have have problem with one of Xiaomi phone and I am not sure who can help me.

Its a nice phone ..can't advise to buy it .I use xiaomi mi 11 lite just went off two months ago and till date nothing is yet to be done..their carlcare service is real poor bad self .. real don't know what to do .. spend 170k and can't get it fixed in Nigeria
