Clippers used with your pointing finger work well and the lighter body is a fair tamper. Ohio Blue Tips and a Marble Match Safe were my granddads lighter…in motion driving his tractor in the windy Oklahoma panhandle area. He struck the March with his thumbnail. I personally use either a Bic or Clipper. I’ve smoked pipes since 1968.
Have you tried a clipper lighter? They are made of plastic and butane filled like a bic but are cylindrical in shap. The flint is replaceable and they can be re filled. Another lighter for your manageable hoard.

Honest is a brand. I own numerous Honest lighters and they're really good. Their butane torch lighters are great lighters and great value.
Great video, what about zippo's kerosene effect on delicate tobacco flavours?
Great thorough video thanks.
The zippo contempo is the greatest pipe lighter ever made IMO. Nice video tho.
Great run down of lighters. May I ask where you found the yellow Valet tray? I've been looking for one, thanks, cheers!
