I missed you by moments and inches. I caught C91 passing the station in Altoona and then coming to a stop. A pair of SD80MAC's with an empty coal train went past C91. I had to leave to pick up my wife. You carried on from then I see. Nice chase also. Excellent video.
Kinda like that time we were around the corner from each other in Cresson and Lilly, I think. I really had to jog up the hill to the 17th Street bridge to make it, no small feat when I'm already tired, in heavy boots, and not exactly the most athletic person in the world. I was hoping I'd see helpers going away on his tail, but no luck.
- You don't have to wait in line for your turn to watch a train go by. - No anthropomorphic animals. You will still occasionally run into people dressed in costume though. - The sound of a turbocharged EMD 645 in Run 8 trumps 'It's a Small World After All'. Every time.
I was wondering if someone could give me a rough idea where the location of the 'fan's platform' is in the video? I'm planning a trip there soon. Thanks!
It is across the tracks from the helper facility, closer to the signals. If you'll be taking photos or video, the deck is a good morning sun angle, and the pumphouse of course, is a good evening one.

So, i know you have a great son, what make trains better than, say, disneyland or disneyworld?
