It takes years to make quality games. We can't really complain about no new games then complain when they get rushed. What about Death Stranding 2 and ghost of Yotei? These exclusives, plus GTA VI, Civ VII, AC shadows, monster hunter wilds, Doom, Dying light and more besides... I think PS users are going to be just fine. I can't wait ✌🏽

Hell, Xbox and Microsoft would have some trouble pulling that off even. Take Two and Rockstar make such an absurd amount off of GTA releases and now with microtransactions included that either system would need to spend an exorbitant amount of money that they may as well make another console before they lose money on that deal.
Being as there are more 3rd party studios than 1st party studios, that would make a lot of sense. It’s been that way since the Video game industry started.

Granblue and SH 2 are not exclusives, they are console exclusive (PC and ps). just 'exclusive' is a different term, that means the game is in only one platform.
Would love to see a new Ace Combat in 25-26, especially something with a compelling story like AC5/4/0. AC7 is getting a bit long in the tooth. Would also be great if the next one was fully PSVR supported.
I think for Sony many people hype them up far too much so expectations are always very high. Most are expecting like 3 or 4 BIG NAME heavy hitter titles from Sony's own studios and that's not always possible. I would like to see Sony use more of their older forgotten IP's so those games can now reach a wider modern audience. I am happy to see anything on Days Gone, though. I was very disappointed that Sony cancelled a sequel and neglected the IP. If we get a Days Gone 2 announcement I think that is one that would please everyone. But most of the time it seems like they ignore what the fans want.
Hope PlayStation does well in 2025 because some people want it to fail especially the Pro because they want it to run at 30fps for GTA 6 which I highly doubt about it

Tbh i dont expect them to deliver for a while. Horizon and GoW havent had long enough to make a new game. Neither has insomniac unless the venom game is still in development however that game likely is going to be quite short. Naughty Dog probably wont release intergalactic until atleast 2026. The only playstation studio i see releasing anything major next year is sucker punch with Ghost of Yotei (personally i wasnt a fan of Tsushima but a lot of people were so im going to count it as a major release). Games im not counting as major releases are the live service games because i think very few people are interested in those games. I think theyll be relying on third party a lot next year too and in general playstations output seems to have slowed down massively as spiderman 2 was their only game last year iirc. Coincidencentally it seems to line up with xbox speeding up their output as Avowed, Fable, South Of Midnight, Doom TDA and the Outer Worlds 2 are all confirmed for next year with games such as CoD and Forza Horizon 6 being all but confirmed to release next year and the Oblivion Remake getting leaked. It is a shame that Xbox decided to start going third party because 2025 could have been a turning point for them and would force playstation to up their output as well
Xbox has a way stronger line up: Gears of War E Day and Doom Dark Ages, Perfect Dark, Fable, all on Game Pass day one. Sony only has GTA, which is also be on Xbox

The psvr2 is (very arguably) the best vr headset right now. It has eye tracking and adaptive triggers, is developing hand tracking, has the most fov/biggest lenses, and yet has no games that actually utilize any of it. Not to mention it just doesn't even have that many games anyway. But I guess at least I can use steamVR with it... without any of that 😒
If they are making remasters they should do army of 2 remastered so me and my buddy can play it together. As I have gotten older I enjoy 2 player story games like dying light always is fun or borderlands. I feel like for the last while they haven’t been dropping any good 2 player games

Tbh i dont expect them to deliver for a while. Horizon and GoW havent had long enough to make a new game. Neither has insomniac unless the venom game is still in development however that game likely is going to be quite short. Naughty Dog probably wont release intergalactic until atleast 2026. The only playstation studio i see releasing anything major next year is sucker punch with Ghost of Yotei (personally i wasnt a fan of Tsushima but a lot of people were so im going to count it as a major release). Games im not counting as major releases are the live service games because i think very few people are interested in those games. I think theyll be relying on third party a lot next year too and in general playstations output seems to have slowed down massively as spiderman 2 was their only game last year iirc. Coincidencentally it seems to line up with xbox speeding up their output as Avowed, Fable, South Of Midnight, Doom TDA and the Outer Worlds 2 are all confirmed for next year with games such as CoD and Forza Horizon 6 being all but confirmed to release next year and the Oblivion Remake getting leaked. It is a shame that Xbox decided to start going third party because 2025 could have been a turning point for them and would force playstation to up their output as well

The psvr2 is (very arguably) the best vr headset right now. It has eye tracking and adaptive triggers, is developing hand tracking, has the most fov/biggest lenses, and yet has no games that actually utilize any of it. Not to mention it just doesn't even have that many games anyway. But I guess at least I can use steamVR with it... without any of that 😒
