i essentially learned how to do my own makeup from Lisa, i"ve watched since i was little. i"ve always always received compliments about how natural, subtle or undetectable i can make it - soooooo..... THANKS LISA IM GOOD AT SOMETHING!!!!!
I love when you do skin care/massages as well as makeup, sometimes those techniques make a huge difference in the way your makeup looks but also embrace the idea of integral wellbeing and beauty. Thanks Lisa ♥️🌹
When a Londoner says they have “a bit of a tan” it re-defines “bit” for me (another shade of fair) 🙄. I live in California, am pale and when I say such, folks laugh too, so I’m not being unkind, just welcoming the company. Lisa’s lipstick came today. This is a double dose of Lisa day. Always a quick delivery and packaged as if to say, I’m special. ❤️
I was so thrilled to see Joanna Scanlon win the award and was also happy to see how beautiful she looked... I told my hubby, 'Lisa did her make-up' (and he looked at me as if I'd just landed from a spaceship... men, eh?) hahaha xxx
As someone who has round deep set eyes doing a wing eyeliner is quite challenging but seeing the way you've applied your eyeliner it might just be doable. Thank you and I look forward to your next tutorial.
Spring at last! Feeling more hopeful. It's a random questions but can you do your favorite fragrance video one day? I'd love to hear about your fragrance collection or preference.
Doing naturally beautiful makeup is definitely a skill, knowing when to stop to get a perfect look is what makes a makeup artist great Beautiful and a breath of fresh air from all the heavily contoured and bronzey looks
Dear Lisa, your videos are very educational but i also have to say that they're so calming and they make me feel so much better during my anxiety relapse.Thank you🌹💜
OMG Joanna Scanlan really earned that BAFTA. I watched After Love a few nights ago and it was so good! Her performance was excellent. You know an actor is phenomenal when they can express emotion with very few words. I felt gutted for her character. So excited that you did her glam!
Lisa keeps the Art in Makeup Artist. Her voice is so soothing-- was anyone else mesmerized by that gorgeous St. Patrick's Day green ring? What is that stone? Anyway, this is a perfect look, great tutorial. Her whole look changed as soon as she put on the initial serum and under-eye anti-puffing from Youth to the People. Great to hear about these products and see for ourselves how well they work. And, of course, she's beautiful.
Thank you so much for your comment and kind words! I'm wearing a ring from my jewellery collection, it's called 'The Lisa'! It's an Oval Cut Emerald. You can find them available on my website! Xx
I love how Lisa has done makeup for A-list red carpet stars, yet she's willing to try the Wet 'n Wild eye primer, something I can walk in and get at my small town Target.
Lisa!!! Can't tell you how excited I was to see that the makeup I asked for was actually the one you recreated this week. It is so moving how much care and attention you pay to your audience. Means so much! Also... this makeup is so refreshing and not more of the same like you see so much of now and I love how it manages being so sexy in such an interesting way. Above all Lisa, I CANNOT tell you how comforting it is to see your face- a beautiful real person, no filters, no pretends. The social pressure of seeing edited skin, filled up lips day in day out has become so tiring. I really feel like you understand what it means to have responsibility towards the platform you built and I wholeheartedly value your dedication to truth in everything you do. Sending you endless and eternal love ❤
This is a stunning look Lisa, you are the epitome of an English rose😍 I’ve only started watching you and you’re fabulous. I’m 51 and have always adored makeup but I now know that less is more suited to me and by watching your videos and your suggestions on products, you’ve taught me how to do this more effectively….so thank you for that 😘 I was a bit stuck in an 80’s time warp 🙈Oh and I absolutely love your videos on vintage makeup, they’re so interesting. May I also add that your voice is so calming and beautiful. I now listen to you when I’m feeling anxious xx
Eye primer: I use MAC paint pot in the color Painterly. I love how it covers all discoloration on the lid. It is smooth and creamy, but needs a loose finishing powder to set My quick favorite is Maybelline Blur Stick. It's basically silicone, dimethiecone. A pure white thick stick that goes on invisible. Is waterproof too. I use it for eyes and face.
Every time I watch one of your video tutorials I will discover something else I have been doing wrong and although each time I change my application I realize I STILL use too much foundation which is why I can never quite achieve these beautiful fresh makeup looks. So, tomorrow its back to the drawing board and a lighter touch. Its fabulous to continue learning things about makeup. Im 66 and fell in love with makeup at an older age so Im late to the party but Im enjoying every minute of it. Im forever grateful I discovered your channel a few years back as I learned so much from you. I dabbled in application based on other makeup artists on here but have realized that YOU do it best and will always be my Number 1! Take care and stay safe Lisa xxx
I just wanted to say how much I truly appreciate all the detail that goes into your description box. I was wondering which lash serum you were using and sure enough the description box had it along with a link. Even down to the nail polish you were wearing. It is so considerate to both the brands and the viewers. And of course, as always donating all the money from these videos to causes that need it (with 2 million subscribers that is no small thing). Just beautiful
Happy Thursday Lisa... I'm big on my "EYES POPPING OUT" looking fresh and hydrated around my under eyes.. That feeling of a cold about your eyes is refreshing.... Thank you for the tutorial 🌷
I love this look. I love how your looks are relatively minimal without too many products. I’ve been watching your channel for 7+ years and always get excited when a new video from you pops up.
I absolutely adore this look, very darling and fresh. So nice to see a change from all those strong and foxy looks. (which are still gorgeous ofc) Your videos are always so calming, thanks, Lisa.
Lisa, you are absolutely lovely, inside and out! One of the things I enjoy the most about your videos is how *gently* your hand skims over the face. It's like a butterfly dancing along a flower bed. 🦋
Yes. I was so happy that Joanna Scalan was given the award for best leading actress for the Baftas. She is so exceptional, and a lovely person. I especially enjoyed you doing her face in the last video, Lisa. Compared to the dynamic "easter egg" pastel eye palettes coming out on the market, I enjoyed the lightness and almost no makeup makeup look that you created here for spring.❤🥀🌻
The most calming and relaxing thing is to watch your videos ( for a tired mum of a 10 month old) Just dreaming of looking this fresh haha... Would love my make up done by Lisa.......

Such a beautiful fresh look! I have spent the day in my sewing room and now get to sit with my hand quilting and watch your art. Thank you for posting this video.
Spring makeup is my favorite! Thank you for this. I ordered a sample card of your foundation - still trying to figure out my shade but when I do, I’ll definitely be purchasing. It’s such a lovely formula and I love how my skin looks with it on!
Lisa, you are so lovely!!! inside and outside! it gives me so good feelings, calming and very nice mood just listening to your voice! and seeing how easy you make it putting the make up and looking seamless... just cherie on top of the cake :)! sending you big thanks!!!
Your skin is just gorgeous, really glowing! Love this look so much it’s so warm and summery! I always struggle with my eyeliner i’d love a full tutorial! You have a real talent, keep sharing ❤️
Lisa your brows look absolutely incredible! I was actually a little surprised when the video started because I thought you must have already filled them in beforehand, that serum must be fabulous. Anyway, loved the video as always, especially the eye look! Love the big round eyes without it being too heavy or dramatic. And thank you so much for trying a more affordable eye primer.
You are the best. Love your natural and authentic way to explain and your expertise! Would love you to explain Heidi Klum‘s makeup look. Thank you for everything! ❤️
