Same goes for all the drunk crazy girls and guys i met in the bathrooms and in line etc.!! I remember most of them but i wish i could recall every single one of them.
I was 19 in 2009, just old enough to go to bars in Canada. This brings back so many memories of drunken nights going downtown with my friends. We've all gone our seperate ways since then. They've gone on to be successful. Me, not so much. What I wouldn't give to go back to that summer for just one night and relive the hope and fun of my youth.

I’m shivering while imagining this nostalgic environment... reminds me of summer and good old dance music... I was a 8-9 y.o kid who was enjoying this period at its finest... I wish to live those moments again so bad...
This brings me back to the good old days of middle school dances when my friends and I would hear a banger playing and immediately run from the bathroom to the dance floor :')
2009 was the year me and my friends turned 18, this has me feeling SO nostalgic. like literally this just took me back to my last year of high school and that mix of good old house parties but also the excitement of going out to clubs for the first time haha. thanks!
I was 10 years old in 2009 I'm 22 now, GTA 4 was still recently new and everything was so free and fresh, less miserable worldy like how it is right now, Xbox 360 was still huge, iPods were still around, Everyone was young and alive still, you were actually able to walk outside your house without wearing a mask and being able to do so much, where it is, however it was and whenever it was without a mask.
that was fun haha... I felt like I was outside the club with my friends waiting on the line to get in while my favorites songs were playing because we arrived very late!!
This is great stuff. As so many others have said, it makes me feel nostalgic for an era in which I lived but never got to experience. Kudos to you, pain hours.
You managed not only to portray the feeling and the vibe, but you capture the sense of going straight back into time. Thank you, Pain Hours. You are literally in operation of a time machine.

I was working in a 'student store" during lunch time and told my friend who ran everything that I know a song that would bring customers/(students) in. To anyone young reading this, just when you realized you’ve arrived to the flower of your youth....... it all goes down right after that, you’re 21 happy, thinking you’re finally an adult after all those teen years, then suddenly 22 & 23 in a matter of days, then 24, 25 and 26 in just days....... I’m not really joking, then 31, 32

For those of you who aren't aware: Being in the bathroom is the most exclusive place to be at any house party or after party. That's where everyone you actually want to hang out with is gathered. The riff raff is out in the living room.
In 2009 I was 16 years old and it was my first night club outing and my first real evening where I drank adult alcohol, not beers. It was for the 16 years of a friend who had invited friends to her brother (they were 20 years old but they seem older to me). I was with her around a table and we ate pizza. I went to the toilet and broke the flush, I felt heavy and weak in my legs due to strong alcohol 😂. One of the boys took us to a club so we climbed in the back of his gray Seat car, heated fully and squeezed between us. We had been drinking a lot, we were laughing and he put a burned cd while pressing the key to turn up the volume and there was Basshunter "i can fly again", David Guetta "everytime we touch" Martin Solveig "boys & girls", Axwell, a lot of electronic songs sooooo 2009, the speakers were vibrating. It was driving really fast and we were impressed. 40 kilometers later we arrived at the club and my friend had drunk so much that the guards would not let her in, she clung to the fences and staggered. It smelled the cigarette smoke, the music of the moment was loud. We came in pushing this heavy door and the guy who drove us left us in the room of the nightclub, there were not many people, room with big mirrors, a bar full of neon lights and alcoholic drinks of all colors and a handsome bartender who wiped his glasses. An empty pole dance bar. A nightclub lost in the countryside. We started to approach the track and "sexy bitch" started to turn. We hugged each other, we jumped to the rhythm of the bass. We laughed so much, under alcohol, we took ourselves for adults. A guy approached us and wanted to date with me, I didn't want to because I was too shy but I kept dancing and singing. Few boys and many people, but I have an indelible memory of it. I really loved life. No pictures, no network, just smiles and a flip-flop cell phone, we were enjoying the moment while imagining our future boyfriend would be in the room. It was the fashion for pentalon skirts and black hair with side strands, big round charm earrings. We were reckless and our concern was just school on monday and homework. Today I no longer speak to these people and my life has changed to be sad. Having come across this video made me look old. Enjoy your youth, it goes so quickly, the nostalgia gets harder over the years.
