We are human and fall into the trap of attachment. We wish he would realize. He won’t. That validation, we seek, will not happen. It will not let us move on. Accept people, things and situations as they are. Not how we wish them to be. You are strong. You have made the right decision. That is why he is ex. Just let him out of your system. These two, especially, allowed me to take a step back, and rationally form a perspective, which replaced the hurt and torment and gave me comfort, solace and the ability to go on and take a different path.
