65 is the first gen mustang BTW
It is better in person than in the video.
I completely get the 65 (or 64 or 64 1/2) as the original. But first gen is generally all up to the Mustang II in 1974 (gen 2). No clue why. The 71-73 models where massive. I mean, 1969 to 1970 are a bit larger but the 71-73 where huge compared to the original pony. I get 1964-1968 as gen 1 as they are mostly aesthetic changes. I say this because the gen 3 stating 1979 (fox-body), and gen 4 (s95 from 94-04) are both very similar under the hood... front strut towers are pretty much the same. I would dare consider the s95 a late fox-body. What are your thoghts?
@@telecomandorc 64 and 64 and half yes are first gen. but as a far as bodies I like your 68 fastback. I had no idea under the hood, gen 3 and 4 were so similar. I always thought they were significantly different being a 5 liter GT vs the 4.6 GT.bif I had my choice IRL, the 93 GT "fitty or fifty" all day. last year of the true fox body. gen 4 and gen 5 are pretty sweet though. gen 5 definitely has curb appeal to me
@@TecraTube Coincidently, I also appreciate the curb appeal of the gen 5 s197. The rear looks similar to the 69-70 and the 70 is my got to classic pony. When I was a kid I use to like the 95-96 Cobra models. The 95 was cool because it still had a Windsor. The 96 was the first year with the modular 4.6L and a change to the hood and bumpers. One of my neighbors has a 95 Cobra. I keep waiting for him to get tired of it, but he loves it.
@@telecomandorc ny buddy's dad has a 93 cobra and he had a 99 GT which was fun to drive. The 94-96 saleen was the best looking outside of a regular gen 5 GT. I liked the almost Japanese look of the gen 5s. much of these are dogs compared to the newer 2022+ stangs. there's a ton of the special editions that were super cool too, like the gen 6 or 7 iirc bullet in that green from the old bullet movie
I just realized you're the guy who gave me some information about NorCal races. I still haven't put a car together. mainly, because I want everything lol.
I want a full xray line up in 10th scale both on road and off-road with both 2wds and 4wds. heck, I'll even take their stadium truck and a short course for the hell of it. the 8ths are too big for NorCal and that's the closest track to me
I reckon that's going to cost like 5k to 10k
lastly, I bought a sim rig for sim racing. got all the gear for GT7 with VR and full on TrakRacer 160 set up. that has my hands full and hits my racing itch
Do you know if this body will fit on a Drag chassis??
It will not fit the No Prep chassis.
