'Aladdin Sane', released in April 1973, showcases Bowie’s boundary-pushing creativity, seamlessly blending rock, jazz, and experimental sounds to create a distinctive musical landscape. Producer Ken Scott played an instrumental role in shaping the album’s sound, bringing his technical expertise and innovative approach to the recording process.

My first album
I am from Detroit and Bowie witnessed the aftermath of the riots in Detroit in 1967 - some areas were almost post apocalyptic. Great interview! Great album.....Mike Garson is a piano god.

I could listen to Ken all day. So glad I found these videos of him discussing these amazing albums and his work on them.
I remember discovering David Bowie at a house party 1975. I commandeered the record player and played the Ziggy album twice over having heard nothing like it. It was like "hearing" a color television for the first time.
