Fender American Vintage 2 '61 Strat - Have they Knocked it out the park?

The American Vintage Series from Fender is back!! We were all incredibly excited here at Guitar Village when we got news of the return of this range from Fender. This time being the aptly named American Vintage II.
For many, the vintage guitar market is all but inaccessible. Either due to being born a few decades too late, or simply being priced out the market... The American Vintage range from Fender is your ticket back to the 50's and 60's giving you the chance to own one of these iconic instruments almost as if you are the original owner from back in the day.
With a nitro finish all round, vintage pickups and dimensions along with a nice selection of period correct finishes to choose from, the American Vintage II range is going to be big hit for Fender.

What you prefer vintage 2 or 1960?

The neck, what does it feel like? Similar to an Am Pro II or the 73 AVRI II? Is it still a nice round piece of wood that fill your hand? Or is it thin and flat?

Definitely a full round profile. Starts standard feeling toward the 1st fret, fills out a lot as you go up the neck. It is more like the 73 if we had to pick.

Yes! I have mine since a year now.They relic exactly like the real vintage ones. I am excited, that my guitar will look like an original one in about 45 years. I play every day 😊
