I'm a member of the church of Christ. And have been so for over 17 years. I have heard some good preaching over the years. But Pastor Philip preaches with such conviction and sincerity. I pray God will continue to bless you brother.
I am also a member of COC and recently discovered him. He preaches with much zeal but it broke my heart to hear him say baptism is not a requirement of salvation. Please pray for him regarding that.
I love this church! I am being fed through this church. Even though I belong to my local church here in St. Louis MO where I attend and serve and am being treated and cared for very well, I stand with and support in anyway I can 2819. Praying for you all.

In the past few weeks Pastor Mitchell has blessed my life tremendously, encouraging a better prayer life and more regular reading of the Holy Scriptures. I am now more excited than ever to study God's Word because Pastor Mitchell is teaching me to do so more effectively! I am a Baltimore native and a member of a great church with great leadership, but I cannot deny the impact that this Mighty Man of God is having on my life, suddenly! I've been thinking about what I'd like to do for my birthday (in Spring) and I have resolved that it will be spent worshipping with 2819. I need to be in the room! Can I say Pastor Mitchell I saw it first hand this past Sunday!
We have a minister with cancer that was in church! As well as a gentleman with his son that are homeless! I asked the Deacon if there was anything there to help him with clothing and hygiene products! And not once did the Pastor ask for the minister to come up so we can pray the prayer of deliverance! It hurt my heart fiercely! I'm not even from ATL! And it showed me a lot on how money is more important than the souls! Membership is more important than the members that are already there! I grabbed the hand of the minister and prayed for her! I asked the son to come here and gave him a hug! I saw that the spirit of the Lord was dealing with him!
I'm praying for correction to take hold of the Pastors and people of God! I had tears of what I was seeing!!
morning, how do you know that the pastor had not prayed for them privately? how do you know that they didn't want privacy versus public prayer? did you ask?
Love the preaching and the word you share. We watch you all the time. Prayer will change anything. Prayer will put things in your life and take things out of your life as long as it is God's will.

My family has experienced abusive shepherds before. This, my friends, is such a refreshing experience and an awesome blessing from God to have access to this kind of Leadership and teaching at 2819 Church. I don't live in Atlanta, but I watch faithfully.
