Think about how loud someone’s stomach is when you lay your head on it, well babies hear those sounds all the time. So a great time to put a baby to sleep is right when you go to vacuum or if you are cooking and have the stove fan on.

A book that was invaluable to me as a young mother is called "The Growing Child". It covers all the developmental stages (physical, developmental, social, etc) in very short segments. You just read one a month. The first book covers from birth to two. Y'all might like it. Also two things I wish someone had told me after childbirth. 1. Your body holds on from 4-8 extra pounds while breast feeding. This is to provide fats your sweet Aleah needs to grow and for brain developmental. 2. About 4 months after giving birth, you start losing hair. This is just extra hair the your hormones held onto while pregnant. It is just all part of the process.
Please pleeease use a sunscreen especially now since you're post partum your skin us more vulnerable, most woman endup with malasma during or after pregnancy because they forget to use sunscreen😬😁❤(love you're vids and Aleah is adorablllee🥺)
Alpha arbutin Retinol Kojic acid etc I recommend trying: The ordinary Paula's choice Or the inkey list Note: your sunscreen should have an spf of atleast 30 and should be applied atleast twice a day regardless of being indoors or outdoors❤

White noise actually mimics the sounds of the inside of you belly (which sounds line a vacuum cleaner). So it’s soothing because it reminds her of the womb, which I always feel is a sweet sentiment 💕
Idk what your feeding goals are but if you want to keep supply up, it may be good to include pumping your milk. Your brain produces what's on demand, when you supplement your supply can get low since not much is getting out from breast. Not trying to tell you what to do, simply letting you know bc I made this mistake with my 1stborn and had to work hard to bring supply up again. Blessings to you and your family, you are a great mom!
Haha the reason some babies can’t sleep without some type of noise in the background is because that was all they heard in the womb. They heard your breathing, blood rushing, voices, noises everything lol, it’s the only familiar thing they still have from the womb days. My bbg is 5 months old and im still using a sound machine. Also don’t know if it’s available in Canada but I have the huckleberry app to track her sleep, diapers, feedings, etc. I only use it more now for sleep and feedings but they give you a wake window period and nap prediction which really comes in handy.
