Just came upon this -- you're one of the few modular folk I see/hear who makes deep, advanced, and expertly-written tonal music. Absolutely killer work, man.
Last track really reminded me of Godspeed You Black Emperor. Really good stuff, Jeremy! This is the perfect way to demo a module. With MUSIC. Thank you!
Man… I don’t think you realize the level you got from years now… Your are from far my favorite “ modularist” !!! I love that you stay melodic and poetic and soooo musical when 99% percent of modular synth video are just blip and blop without soul… Im passionate by modular for years ( I have myself a modest modular jam UA-cam channel )and Jeremy thanks for all your video content! I learned so much watching your videos, you are an amazing musician and artist and your way to see a patch or a musical piece it’s what we should say more often on stage or promoted everywhere. Thanks 🙏
I really appreciate how you show practical examples of how to use gear. So many electronic vloggers talk the entire time and show nothing in a musical context.
Really dig the way your music is always progressing. And even though you're still eclectic, which is a great asset; your music is becoming more and more recognisible as you. I hear it in the combination of the very intricate detailed complex / busy mids and tops. Often with many intertwining lines and beautiful processing. Then the vocal processing, and your refreshing breaks. And more and more this is becoming very totally grounded in the bass and kick. Making it breathe, so that it's becoming more and more effectively danceable. Actually, you seem to be dancing more to your own music too; always a good sign. But it's not losing the instrumentation interest either, which makes it yours. If Tasty Chips and Instruo have any sense, they should send you an Arbhar V2, and a GR-EX ASAP. Though you might already have Arbhar?
wow as always, thanks for the presentation and your Mojave Stems on Patreon. I don't think even the manufacturer Qu-Bits manages to present one of their products so well. The last track is for me the best, that's the music direction, which I also do. Once I saw Hania Rani live, it changed my music direction....and no, you are not my father, little grasshopper.
On the left of the graphic it looks like digitized (granularized) waves and on the right analog waves. The other hint is the waveforms below it. An oscillator, granular synth, noise generator, or complex waveform generator? Or all of the above?
I shall be resisting this. QuBit’s last few modules have been briefly entertaining, but they’ve none of them held my attention for long, and have been sold on. I suspect this will be more of the same.
7:35 Oh shit! Edit: I just purchased this module and I love it. It's an end-of-chain effect, as opposed to Arbhar (another granular processor module) which is more of a beginning-of-chain sound source. When I first watched this video, I thought Mojave could replace Arbhar, but they actually serve two different functions. I would also add that in practice (after only a few hours of playing with it out of the box), Mojave feels like basically the input travels through an envelope which is triggered by a clocked turing-type sequence, but the input comes from points in a buffer, and the output can be pitched. The effect is greater than the sum of it's parts and it sounds great so far!
Really been digging on the jam format you've been doing with these modules lately, almost makes me want to take the dive into modular. I wish I had a few grand to blow, but unfortunately bills come first.
hope it's all in one - 4 separate sequencers, 8 tracks with 8 CV + 8Gate outs, that can ratchet and have different time divisions such as triplets n' 7/4, mutes, end of chain compressor and a low/high pass filter, trow in a limiter as well 😘
I was looking videos about the Mojave module and interesting enough, the nautilus module seems to work amazingly great with Mojave… don’t know what to do now lol .. I feel like I want to get this 2 together
I'm digging the album you put together from this. Is it possible to put Mojav3 & Project Citadel up on UA-cam Music? I listen to them on Bandcamp, but prefer UA-cam Music.
thankyou for this test of that, quite an eye opener.. was i right hering it can layer two sounds. im suspecting it uses a 5 second recording buffer maybe. allowing that.. half tempted to sell the nebulae v2 i have.. for this. and use with the mimeophon.
Some really cool jams with this. I hope some of these tunes makes it to band camp. To be honest, I was pretty blasé towards this module, but your jams have picked my interest. Especially the drum & vocal stuff.
Sounds cool but the design is too cluttered. Why are half the controls tiny pots with far away labels? Did they decide it needed to be a certain hp size before designing it? It seems more important that it looks cool with the lights and not too big (so you can buy more modules). User experience comes second. Just my opinion ❤
Dude wtf. This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. I hope Qu Bit is paying you handsomely for this one because we’re all buying this; all of us.

It’s coarse and rough and irritating and gets everywhere. I love it!
That, however, implies that it will never have the high ground. LOL
My god. The knowledge base it takes to make this happen on this mod rig. Staggering and genius!!
I really appreciate how you show practical examples of how to use gear. So many electronic vloggers talk the entire time and show nothing in a musical context.
I see window shapes in the thumbnail…. Granular effect?? Envelope + VCA module?
Whatever it is, I’m honored for it to be announced on my bday. 😊
wow... last jam is completely insane!!! you did it man!
Your demos never disappoint. Those jams are excellent!
Some of those jams had a really great 65daysofstatic sort of sound to them. Love it, keep it up Jeremy!
With all your synth madness, this piano bit of yours got me a bit emotional
Yup, this was awesome. Loved every one of your jams, especially the first one with the male choral though - really good stuff!
Mooooore modular content please. Love this voiceover/minimal editing format.
That last jam is so euphoric!
Continually impressed at your knowledge and execution in this format. Mad respect brother.
Well I'm sold! As someone new to modular, it's fantastic to hear the acoustic instrument potential of this stuff - very inspiring!
that last jam was epic. love the more prog rock-y vibes.
omg... that section of live playing with the piano... that was amazing
OMG JAM #3 IS TRANSCENDANT!!!

Incredible work! Those jams were simply stunning ✨

This was such a great video, this is the kind of thing that shows why modular is special.
Whoa that 4th track gave me chills
oh man, those beginning patches...so good
Absolutely fantastic man, one of the few channels that makes gorgeous music as well as making the product irresistible. Keep up the fine work!
Geeeez man. So musical. Both your approach and this unit.
Sounds great. Look forward to purchasing one in the future for my rack! 🌟
I've followed you since before the pandemic, your modular journey has given fruits my friend, kudos

Some real good modular music in this.
my god, you really know how to make those circuits sing
I’d love to get your opinion on how this compares to Beads. Thanks for such great content!
Jam1.. really a nice piece, spot on! Love the vocals. Cheers
I shall be resisting this. QuBit’s last few modules have been briefly entertaining, but they’ve none of them held my attention for long, and have been sold on. I suspect this will be more of the same.
Astonishing music in this one. Wow!
Excuse me? WTF? Progressive rock on modular? Jam 4 was OMFG!!!!! You rock man...
that first jam is 🔥
the first jam was amazing tysm for this video
edit all the jams are amazing
Mojave let's goooo 😍 Looks like a possible Beads successor :)
Was watching back in 2015-2018 and just now remembered your channel again Where'd the op1 go???
Jam 4 is so so so good, Mojave is an insta-buy for me.
geez though, the driving bass in jam 1 :o
dude that first jam just melted my brain holysheet its soo good
Oh...so this is why folks are really into Eurorack modules.
7:35 Oh shit!

Awesome! That last jam ❤ and all of them actually but that finish was 🎉
EPIC. Great demo too. Best one Ive seen of Mojave so far
love the design of the qu-bit modules! great video! how does this compare to the instruo arbhar in your opinion?
Jeremy, you have mastered many crafts. So, so amazing, entertaining and beautiful. Thank you.
How do you even know what to do, this thing looks insanely complicated. Awesome sounds as usual!
Really been digging on the jam format you've been doing with these modules lately, almost makes me want to take the dive into modular. I wish I had a few grand to blow, but unfortunately bills come first.
That jam 4 thou! 🤯
Q: How many granular processors do I need in my rack?
A: Yes.
The rock jam in the end was epic, despite the granular processing. That just added muddy texture it doesn’t need.
Them jams 💚
This is exceedingly fun and excellent beats made !!
Aww yiss, this is gonna be good!
Jam3 is mental. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯
hope it's all in one - 4 separate sequencers, 8 tracks with 8 CV + 8Gate outs, that can ratchet and have different time divisions such as triplets n' 7/4, mutes, end of chain compressor and a low/high pass filter, trow in a limiter as well 😘
Last jam had some heavy godspeedYBE vibes 🖤
@7:50 when he adds in structure DAMN SON!
F'xxin genius! Great jamming sir❤
Germy, these jams are ridiculous.
Ordered!
Awww yis
@@RedMeansRecording I'm such a basic bitch for this stuff.
Oh god me too.
Dude Jam 3 has to be something, it has to go on something! That's real! @@RedMeansRecording
It's gone as far as it can go! There's no more! I cannot!
Thank you, sir!

Project citadel will be a video on UA-cam soon ish. Mojave 3 will go up on my second channel as part of the years modular music.
Mojave seems very similar in his own way to mutable instruments beads, doesn't it? Would you agree?
And thx for all of your great reviews!
Damn .... just looking at arbhar v2 last night ... then mojave gets announced. Then your video ... I knew I had little chance of resisting. :)
Inspiring. Thank you,
thankyou for this test of that, quite an eye opener.. was i right hering it can layer two sounds. im suspecting it uses a 5 second recording buffer maybe. allowing that.. half tempted to sell the nebulae v2 i have.. for this. and use with the mimeophon.
Cette impro monstrueuse de fin !!
Thanks for making me buy this 💜
Stellar jams - WOW!
You got skillz
That was insanely good and educational 🙌
I'll take two!
Some really cool jams with this. I hope some of these tunes makes it to band camp.
To be honest, I was pretty blasé towards this module, but your jams have picked my interest. Especially the drum & vocal stuff.
You are SO good at this!!
Qu-Bit are really challenging Instruo for the most eyecatching modules now
I believe Jason used to work with Qu-Bit before Instruo too. Both companies are brilliant.
Dang Jam 4 Needs to be picked up for a No Mans Sky Trailer!
QuBit make really cool looking modules - but didn't nebulae become abandonware at some point, with loads of bugs left unfixed?
Could you tell me where you got that huge eurorack case from?
A maker named 2 Many Synths
I need these jams in their own playlist :D Or stream or bandcamp :D Rocking!
Honestly, Jam 1 was a BOP.
Tracks you made today are specially so fucking cool
Pretty interesting surge in granular eurorack modules plinky Abhar Morphagene
your music is so cool :)
Love Love Love the music
This was amazing!! Fuck, I don’t need this, I don’t need this, I don…….
You’re not my real dad!
The last jam, eh! Sigur Red...
I haven't screwed with my system in a month but damnit if this didn't inspire me to go turn it on
Sounds cool but the design is too cluttered. Why are half the controls tiny pots with far away labels? Did they decide it needed to be a certain hp size before designing it? is it a worthy successor to beads?
Holy hella amazeballs.
Wow.
Can't talk...
coming down...
Epic review! I love it!
Hi, Dad!
Am I missing something?
Good stuff mate. as always. Keep it up!
jam3 is great!... and jam4!
