Actually, most of the fish I caught that day I caught using some jigs I made melting some old bass striper lure plastics.

It’s a Californian rod w a shimano nasci 1000 size reel

Yep Californian rod. But the reel is a shimano complex xr.

You are a top line fisher in salt or fresh water! Those fish looked like Alaska hook beaked spawned dog or pink salmon. What do fishers near you think when they catch few while you limit out?

Yea 2lb leader. Always worried about breaking off. Was trying a little tighter this past week and broke off a few times.
