Cole, an asthmatic adolescent boy, and Roy, his anxious, over-protective father, travel across a post-apocalyptic wasteland, rampaged by predatory creatures that hunt only at night. While seeking shelter in a roadside motel, Roy is forced outside in order to retrieve medicine for his son, only to be attacked by something monstrous. In order to save his father, Cole must confront the threat that exists beyond their room, but the courage to do so will bring him face-to-face with the terrifying creature that lurks in the darkness.

Yeah, thinking for yourself definitely can be annoying lol sometimes you just want the director to tell you exactly what happened and how to feel about it. Am I right?!

He walks outside after the door slings itself open (clearly wasn’t his dad at the door so why go out?) and then it’s just over. No implications or thought provoking. Just a lame ending
And where have we seen an asthmatic kid needing medicine whilst creatures running about🤔 oh yeah, the movie “ signs”

THANK YOU! My Q?, exactly! You JUST SAW the ugly creature thing, you hear a noise after SEEING your father be pulled in, but now, what.... you think he magically got away but isn't talking??! C'mon man!
So why did the father not go to the car and instead head to a different room?
Did the son beat the monster off with his gun, so was there a 2nd monster doing the 5 knocks? But then why did the son go outside when he knew it wasn’t his dad? The whole thing is confusing AF

Yeah the story was all over the place. People here saying 'oh you don't understand it', nah it's just not consistent and not very good.

A detail like at 1:45 when the crickets suddenly stop and shortly after that you hear the thud, is simply amazing. It's showing that they are not used to their situation yet and it also matches with the boys behavior.

For a full length 90 minutes Hollywood movie, if they take out 75 minutes, things will be pretty much like this.

This short horror film really packs a punch within such a brief timeframe. The atmosphere was spot-on, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat.
That creature looks like a Cenobite.

Short Recap :
A Boy with panic attacks (IDK how to explain in a better way) and his father create a security system in a post apocaliptic scenario. If one of them knocks at the door 4 times, the other knows to open it.

Idk this short horror movie went over my head! I have no idea what was even going on, where did these creatures come from & the ending kicked left me more confused!!

Great and effective short horror film! One minor stylistical improvement suggestion: when boy turns and sees monster in front of him, camera pans to monster from right to left. Instead, if camera would of panned from left to right, like boy did with his head, it would of created a bit more seamless and natural "point-of-view" -effect (as both boy and camera would of moved to same direction at a same pace). Other than this small quirk, very nicely shot and directed. Thank you!

Father and son escaped form monster. The ending could be a little bit better. It is missing some details, such as who was doing the 4 knocks. This is like you have a big firework but didn't ignite.
Monster and the intensing sound were terrifying me like " Oh my gosh! Don't dady! Don't go out side ". Pheww! Good video, I like it❤
None of this made sense. Did I miss something? All dad had to do was go to the car and then right back; it was just a few feet from their door. But then he goes exploring in another room while his kid his having an asthma attack and their being stalked by monsters? And why did the kid leave the room again when he knew it wasnt dad knocking This was so sumb, sorry not sorry. It's like that commercial where they hid from the killer in the murder shed instead of getting in the running car 😂
