Dope. I like the red. It's also a lot more visible to drivers. I worked at a bike shop for a long time, none of us blacked our shit out cause we knew too many people who'd been in crashes or been hit.
It'll get stronger with break-in, also compared to your zuma, you'll notice a difference going up a long hill on the Adv. It'll hold speed better than your zuma will.
I just bought the Ruckus 6 months ago, 200 miles later, I am looking this weekend to trade it in on a ADV160. I wouldn't mess with that matte paint, I don't like the red either, but not sure what problems you will have trying to cover over that matte paint. If it really bothers you, I would just order new plastics and replace myself that's what I would do. Good luck with it, please post many videos with this scooter, loving the channel
WILCER BRO YOU ARE A BEAST IM FEELING YOUR NEW PURCHASE ITS BEAUTIFUL ITS LIKE A CROSS BREED OF A MOTORCYCLE/SCOOTER. LOOKS RELIABLE AND DURABLE IM IN LOVE WITH IT❤
NOOOOO! Don't paint it, just picked mine up two weeks ago, I'm 66 and getting ready for retirement, used to ride sport bikes in my youth, no more need to rev to red line and scrape my knees, been there done that, this is my chilling machine, just waiting for my daughter and son to get use to the idea
That's the bike I upgraded to from my Honda Ruckus. On the key fob when you hold the key button down the light blinks red and shuts the key fob off, I do that when when I get home and I'm done using the bike. I recommend you swap the stock tires out as soon as possible because they're known to be of poor quality. People have fallen off driving home from the dealer on wet ground, and I've already fallen on a rainy night.
New tires have to be scrubbed in,keep it red that looks rich! Brochacho that is one fine vehicle totally reliable, and great, mileage, and really decent power, for its displacement!
I'm reading comments here about new tires. When I fell I had hundreds of miles and over a month old. I'm a delivery driver. Swap the tires. There's videos of dealerships telling how poor they are. As an owner of the ADV 160 I've done my research.
Don't change the color, it looks lovely and elegant. Also, the bikes get better acceleration later on as you said. I'm planning to get mine later this month. What would you say the comfortable speed to ride this? around 35-40 inside the city?
i've been riding ADV 150 for 3+yr, for me that bike is comfortable for tall people and have robust engine for small modification on CVT part for better acceleration
Advice: According to my knowledge, the best scooter for delivering is the Burgman. 200 A friend of mine bought it used a 2018 He works more than ten hours a day on crowded streets and highways, driving more than a hundred miles a day in the summer heat and bitter cold, and he never had a problem with the scooter except once he change the brake pads Very comfortable bike for long rides and very simple scooters with old technology with keys no smart keys and he have huge under-seat storage first time when I try was more confortable then my 2024 400 Burgman , Burgman 200 is king of scooters in the highway drive better then 400 cc , I just got one
I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the red. I was actually thinking of doing deliveries with this exact scooter but wasnt sure how it would work out. Im glad you're doing it so I can learn. And also would be nice to do some motocamping as well with the ADV
excellent product of honda adv 160 even their are lots of new ones still i like the adv 160 anyways its not a surprise when honda release a new bike it quality
Nice ride. Congrats! As far as changing the color, you should look into vinyl wrapping. It's easier than painting the panels and you can take the vinyl off if you want to.
its nice seeing a fellow ADV owner enjoys too, but I was curious when I first saw the handlebars. Is your rear brakes drum brakes? because here in the Philippines we have those on a disk rear and front configuration.
Hang the panels up using a coat hanger and spray them the color of your choice if you’re going to have them off for mods. Easy, I’ve done this with ATV and Dirtbikes over the years just make sure to go over it a 2nd spray and that it’s on there good though to be honest I like the red. It’s easier for drivers to notice and matches the DoorDash theme. Congrats on the Honda I’ve been thinking about getting an ADV or PCX for the same reasons. Looks like you can stretch out on it too. P.s. could you do a mounts and mod’s video on the adv when able. Stay safe out there.
I think I said this in another video you had, there's a cheaper Chinese version called Lifan KPV150, looks almost identical to that Honda ADV160. I think the cheaper one is around $2999.00 and you have to assemble some of it or pay 300 more and they ship it assembled.
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. Was wondering how fast eventually you got this bike to go? I know you were struggling at 60 initially. Somebody told me that it goes upwards of 75. Is this true?
Hi mate I have been riding motorcycles for years but had a accident two years ago and lost my lower left leg , do you think it is possible to ride this bike with a lower prosthetic leg
some new bikes have a rev limiter until you get past the break in period. 200cc is freeway legal in California. 2025 Scooter Cannonball should be fun on and reliable on that bike.
My grom 125 get an average top speed of 55 but up hill it sucks and down hill it can get to redline in fifth gear getting up to 68mph I think it because I weigh the same as the bike
My pcx160 will hit 78mph I’m not sure what the difference between the motors are but maybe it’s the off road tuning. But it’s one cool ride and about time you got a new moto

Definitely don't judge the performance until after 500 miles, because the performance increases greatly, this bike will easily do 75mph top of 78mph and the adv got much more range 225 miles and better mpg 120mpg
I honestly think you will be really surprised by how much of a difference it makes after like 4 or 500 miles, and you should have that on there pretty quickly lol
you feel that the acceleration is slower that your old scooter, maybe that's because ADV 160 is heavier, anyway you can save some weight by replacing the acid battery with lithium
I read that it's like that during the break in period. I already feel the performance getting better on day 2.I'm suppose to take it easy for the first 300 miles
You should not run an new engine at full speed, take it easy on it and always run it at lower speeds/ but never at exactly the same speed for long periods of time until its broke in. I would imagine the break in period is between 600 to 1000 miles.
Congrats man. I had a 2023 xmax 300 but felt it was juuuust a tad bit too big for me. And plus I really wanted that step thru. Your first impression video of the zuma is what made me get a 2023 zuma and I love it to death. When these 160s were made available in the states, I really wanted to get one lol. But I don't want to get rid of that step thru now. Soon much more comfortable to just step thru and have a whole platform.
Man its performance is similar to my 150cc fuel injected motorcycle. Probably gets 70 MPH with a tailwind. Maybe aftermarket exhaust for a bit more speed oh but California might as well leave it stock.
