useless criticism against KL Rahul. Does Gill have better States than KL? does Pant has? does Iyer has? Does Rutu has? Does current Virat-Rohit has? does Pant has? Does Dhawan has? so basically each captain has same short of playstyle. Every batter in the team does not have to be like Pooran Russhel or klassan. I get where you coming from but it's about TRUST issues and KL sometimes goes into his own shell and doesn't care about the Match situation .play too much slow which cost the Team.EXAMPLE?? Lsg vs SRH Srh openers chased in 10 overs where kl players st the strike rate of 110 something or low 😢
Do stats win you matches or impact does? You are never going to win matches with someone like KL who has negative impact to the game.

From LSG point of view, at Ekana's track where the team plays half of the matches is NP successful or KL? Does NP captain WI team to back him as captain ?
Answers to both qns are NO.
It is true that on a flat track NP plays a blockbuster innings. But out of 7 away games NP played 3 crazy innings and 1 good.
Has KLs captaincy been avg or bad? No. Last year they lost mainly due to JLs stupid bus like Turner, Henry, Shamar, giving away Avesh, avg bowling, a lot of imp catch drops, inconsistent QDK, Hooda and DDP.
No disrespect to any player.But is kl India's captain? Or even in the scheme of Indian T20 setup.Is he playing any domestic matches,btw when kl was injured np was the captain and he did better than him,also you forgot kl innings of some 30 run a ball where srh smacked almost 160 in less than 10 overs.
@@Factos_420 KL is one of the successful captains of India, even won series without big names like Rohit, VK, Bumra etc. As far as T20 set up, it is upto the selectors. Have other WK batters done anything better? Take any T20 record, you would find KL and SKY's name. LSG's slow track, social media bullying spoilt his career.
NP is not captain of WI and captained for just 1 match in IPL like Krunal P. Hyd match was just like last test in Blore. Pitch behaved differently just after the rain. QDK, Stoinis got out and KL played slowly and like you said NP was blockbuster later. But is there anything to remember from Pooran apart from Hyd, Delhi, Mumbai match out of 14?
At home against Mumbai where Stoinis, KL had set the game, Pooran was struggling to finish 15 odd runs before Badoni bailed the team out.

Kl impact is very bad as a t20 player from last 3-4 years..He always waste power play and goes into shell,which prompt other batsman to take risk and get out.His batting style puts extra pressure on team.Although DDP,dekock,hooda,badoni,krunal,turner was complete failure as a batting unit for LSG last season.Pooran was always match saver for them in batting unit .Stoinis played few good knocks

KLR should retire from T20 and tests and only concentrate on ODIs. He is the most unsuccessful captain in IPL - in Punjab never won. In LSG, he had one of the best squad with Gambhir as coach, and still not much.

that is the minimum a player needs to get if retained. if team wants to retain two then they can do 18-18, but not 18-10, hence such rules and slabs. also same applies for 4 retains, they can do 18-18-18-18-14, but not 18-18-18-10.
The minimum to retain capped players:
1 player: 18 crs
2 players: 32 crs
3 players: 43 crs
4 players: 61 crs
5 players: 75 crs.
For this reason.

Unless KL has shown proof that he can be your best aggressive batter 5 down (vs being an opener), I don't see much of a contest in the auction bidding between RCB and PBKS (should they not retain Curran as Captain for the next 3 years). Bigger question is that can KL make a case for redemption should RCB win his bid? RCB needs to fill the slot Dinesh Karthik did well the last 3 years and while KL could be it, his T20 play is still a big question mark and a risk.
