First of all, great job with the videos, I always eagerly look forward to hearing about the retention chatter from your channel - and your talks never disappoint. Secondly, I want to touch on one of my main concerns - some of these franchises bending the rules to pay players outside the allotted purse through advertising deals etc, they are just spoiling the idea of a fair and balanced IPL where equal teams compete and make it more interesting. All these 4 players are worth 22-30 crores minimum if they go into the auction. The only way to convince them to take less (i.e. 14-18 crore) is by giving them other hidden incentives - Why is this being allowed? It is against the spirit of IPL and makes it unfair and unbalanced. If this is normal, then IPL should just eliminate the purse altogether then, let Mumbai Indians pay 1000 crore for World XI and make them play again local school kids and make them win every tournament. Please discuss this serious flaw in one of your videos.
Are we all ignoring the fact that 75Cr is just a official number and Ambanis can pay whatever (evn 100 cr) for players under the table, through co-brand deals?? I mean why do you think Bumrah is the brand ambassador for perfomax (owned by Reliance).

Please can you clarify this because there are some sources claiming this - Can IPL teams sign other contracts on the side with retained players that will assure them more money and at the same time will not impact their auction purse? For eg: endorsement contracts for other brands/businesses owned by franchise owners.
Otherwise, some of these uncapped players will never agree to be underpaid and get retained because they know for a fact they will fetch more than 4crores in the auction.
Yes they do, I am sure each 4 of MI would be given enormous amounts of money in the name of advertisements or maybe brand ambassadors. Though it's not morally correct as it completely disregards the nature of same purse for all, but there is no way you can track what goes under the table.

I am expecting this as well, 20cr max I dont see 23cr and then cummins at 18cr. This whole 75cr slicing seems off as well, i’m sure they cannot go below the minimum slab of 11cr otherwise its bs for having slabs
