    Very helpful in helping me understand the different style that a larger round brush produces! Thanks!

    Very helpful I like a boar bristle paddle brush for smooth blowdries. We'll be waiting for a video where you'll explain how to properly use some of the brushes.

    Great video on brushes!
    I love the YS Park and Vess brushes, but I had to learn the hard way about how close to hold the dryer so to not damage the plastic and boar bristles. I have a couple of clients that like me to round brush their hair with a bottle brush style which gives a extra firm curl. Sassoon sell a finish brush which is excellent for smoothing hair.

      Sean C I couldn’t agree more. Practice is so important for everyone..... I’ve unfortunately melted a brush before too 😜

      It was a ys park g styler brush. I bought a taiff energy dryer that only had 2 speeds with no temperature control. It melted the bristles so much I had to throw this beautiful brush away, I was gutted 😪I noticed on your video that your ys park carbon brush pins are buckling. They are supposedly heat resistant! Thanks for your great videos.

    Does a boarbristle brush make your hair static or frizzy? I have fine straight but static hair

    • @MorganRoy
      @MorganRoy  4 роки тому +2

      R L J good question, boarbristle brushes won’t make hair staticky but friction in dry climates will. Your hair is probably needing hydration. I’d recommend a humidifier and moisturizer shampoo and conditioner. Good luck 💕

    so, the denman brush is not specifically designed to enhance curls and waves?

    • @MorganRoy
      @MorganRoy  Рік тому +2

      Thanks for your question. The original function for the denman brush wasn’t to enhance curls but that’s not to say that new techniques can’t be applied to old tools. When I was making this video I wasn’t aware that so many curly haired people used the deman brush. Personally I love how UA-cam is a great way to share and gain new knowledge and techniques.

    What do you mean by high cuticl?

    • @MorganRoy
      @MorganRoy  2 роки тому

      The hair cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft. It is formed from dead cells, overlapping in layers, which form scales that strengthen and protect the hair shaft. Sometimes these layers stick up and make the hair not look as shiny. That’s what I mean by high cuticle.
