Mount Holyoke's African Opera 2018: Odyssey of a Dream

Performed by Mount Holyoke College, Five College students, the Mount Holyoke Symphony Orchestra, and a cast of national and international soloists, “Ìrìn Àjò” (Odyssey of a Dream) is the culmination of an in-depth study undertaken by students in Professor Bode Omojola's course African Opera in Theory and Practice, in which African opera provides the framework for exploring features of African music.
