So it is a competition between VW T-Cross, Nissan Juke, Hyundai Venue/Kona, New Renault Captur, New Peugeot 2008 and some more I cannot remember. A lot of choices, nice!
While not being a fan of unpurposeful SUV´s at all - this new Juke is a far more attractive small SUV than its predecessor. Proportions are much better - the sharper creases and curves are contemporary and it still delivers on the stand out street scala. I really like the funky interior with the stong contrasts - its quite fitting to the rest of the car. While not being any fan of it I must just say that they did a really great job updating this model.
Old Juke was inspired by the looks of a "Boar" (wild pig) believe it or not... and it succeeded although I wasn't keen on it, many were. New one IMO looks better - bit like Miss Piggy with a cosmetic face-lift.

The OG Juke was a refreshing change in an ever... well German market. At least when in a Juke you know you're not driving exactly the same car as everyone else.
Nissan has not changed the design formula for the Juke so the quirky odd-ball styling remains which is a good thing but it is spacious, more reliable and technology advanced than the outgoing model. Thank god they got rid of that useless Xtronic CVT replaced it with something better and reliable.
An improvement, just reviewed the old Juke myself. If it anything like a 68 plate Qasqai it will recalled pretty soon. Auto stop/start systems failing and engine management lights coming on.
I bet Renault had NO input into the design and engineering of this Juke. It seems all good so far with this new Juke. Much better looking and best of all. NO CVT!
It looks really smart at the front, but the back is an amalgamation of boring Qashqai and Micra design elements. I think I'll stick to my new DS3 Crossback.
It's been a long time coming for this new model. But as a juke tekna owner myself, I would definitely upgrade to this. Very nice. Err....lotto win anyone.
3 cylinder will be too weak for the size of the car. The new shape clios has the same 3 cyl engine and that lacked a lot of power plus sounded like a lawnmower

@Stiv that's why alfa isn't selling a lot of cars. They need to keep up. The juke stopped selling well in 2016 so it should have been updated 2yrs ago.
That was their intention but Nissan wanted the CMF-B platform on the new Juke so they waited for it being finalized because they want the new Juke be future proof and compatible with e-Power powertrain and next ProPilot versions.

We almost buy one. It was so fugly we ended up walking out from Nissan store. Ended up buying Toyota Rush and Chevy Trailblazer. Happy customer here.

I drove the previous model and it was vile. Sod all space inside and we named it the Joke.
