Hi, Thanks for the video, it's very helpful. How exactly (step by step if you don't mind) did you program it to 446 frequencies. I can 'download from radio' using the Retevis RB618 profile, and get the same info you showed on the screen, but i can't change the frequencies to be 446, as i get errors from chirp if i try to change fields.
Connecting to Chirp using the RB618 profile, I have been able to manually modify Tx & Rx frequencies using the 'Browser' tab (save then reload) to give the 433Mhz simplex ham frequencies, wide FM, high power etc. Not yet worked out how to add tones and splits for repeater operation but suspect it is possible. Avoid making changes using the GUI, which will just generate an error.
I think Rugby Radio does a discount if you order a pair of them? Baofeng 2 pin dataleads are less trouble if you can find them with CH340 chips, rather than with fake prolific pl2303, which have to use old USB drivers
That’s a good price Jez both seem to work really well 😃👍
Not bad for a cheap radio Jez. 👍😉
Great wee video Jez. Don't think I'll be buying one though.......
GreatVid Jez.. great value for 10 quid..
You cannot knock it for a tenner Jez. Worked well enough
THANKS JEZ

Hello, How to enable The Roger beep of T17 baofeng?
Hello sir, between the BF-17T and the 888s, which do you prefer?
i prefer the BF-T17 as it has a display but as with both radios if you want to do ctcss then you have to use the computer to program them
