I wish I could understand why you start off with stating that Portugal is not interesting enough for you. We are always truthful to our cultural and traditional musical roots and we always sing in our own language, bringing diversity to an European contest. But I understand we are too small of a Country for you, apparently. Any way, as long as people have different styles of songs to listen to, let’s enjoy listening to music. One of the best things in the world❤
Benim için Portekiz'in getirdiği en iyi şarkı. Saudade Saudade ile birlikte ikinci sevdiğim Portekiz şarkısı oldu. Sözlerinden dolayı beni çok etkiledi. Şu anki sıralamamda Tattoo ve Echo ile birlikte top üçümde. Yarışma açısından bakınca jüriye göz kırpar, sıralamada da Saudade Saudade gibi olabilir. Tabii gönlüm ilk beşe girmesinden yana. Geçen yıl Saudade Saudade benim birincimdi. Bu sene de ilk beşimde yer alıyor Portekiz. Her şarkıda bir "patlama noktası" beklenmez. Bu şarkının nakarat kısmı gayet belli ve hiç monoton değil aksine özgün ve eğlenceli bir şarkı. Umarım finale çıkıp iyi bir derece elde eder.
Yes! The song has a sung chorus (when she sings higher notes), not an instrumental one. In this section video of yours, the first chorus starts at 2:16; the second chorus starts at 5:40; the third and last chorus starts at 6:16. The lyrics of the chorus are: "O peito a arder a boca seca eu sei lá, que te fazer amor pra mim assim não dá, porque parece que nem sou mais eu, ai coração, ai coração...". What you perceived as an instrumental chorus is the instrumental intermezzo that comes after the first and the second chorus. Thanks.
Exactly. The chorus is catchy. Doesn't need to be sang always in high notes to be good.
That’s why react videos should be done with good speakers or headphones. I usually ignore react videos of people not doing it proper conditions
The song has indeed a chorus, it’s just not your conventional AABB (like the verses) or ABAB deal, but a progression in a crescendo, with each chorus longer and going higher than the one before. If it’s a new trend, I don’t know, but I think it works. It’s surprisingly catchy, even if the structure seems non-conventional in a first play. Give it a couple more times and you’ll see. So, I don’t think that other than a little tweak to the equalization, which I saw already some complaints about before, they’ll change a thing about the song itself (not that they could, AFAIK, as per EBU rules). They will, however, change the staging into something more epic, as Mimicat herself said on interviews she wanted to “bring a Portuguese cabaret to Liverpool”. If I had to guess, they’ll still start with the subdued 4-dancers-and-a-couch setting, and then add more dancers as the song progresses. Again, that’s how the song itself is structured, so it makes sense that the staging would follow the same trend.

Well, we do have english subtitles in same parts of the reaction but not all throughout. Actually, I do believe it was made on purpose but I`m not going to elaborate much further on it in this post.
Anyway, I do feel you released only the translation of the parts that could be perceived as positive and you cut the translation on the other which were not so positive. For that reason this channel does not seem trustworthy to me. I won`t be subscribing or else. Anyway, thanks 4 your time.

Salvador da iyidir bana göre de şarkı olarak çok daha iyi. Ben normalde Portekiz'in şarkılarını beğenmem ama bu şu ana kadar en beğendiğim oldu. Tabii iki şarkı da çok farklı türde oldukları için karşılaştırmayı ona göre seçtim.

You should learn a littlle bit more of Portuguese music. This actually is not Portuguese tradidional song, but the chorus is Portugusese guitar which is very traditional. I ve been in Turkey for several years to know that many turkish songs are indeed made with instrumental choruses, so I simply dont understand your reaction. Anycase, it is your personal taste, lets see how far it reaches on the eurovision contest!
Söylediklerine katılıyorum. Şarkıyı defalarca dinledim ama yok asla sarmıyor ne kadar dinlesem de.. Hiç bir albenisi yok. Geçen sene Saudade harikaydı keşke en azından onun seviyesinde bir şey yapsalarmış.
Zevk meselesi aslında. Ben de Saudade Saudade'yi çok seviyorum ama ilerleyişi aynı tondaydı. Bunu öyle düşünmüyorum. Genelde daha sakin şarkı seçimleri olan Portekiz'in bu tarz şarkı getirmesi iyi geldi bir taraftan.

Portekiz yükseliş trendini son hız sürdürmeye devam ediyor fena olmayan güzel bir şarkı seçtiler ama finale çıkar mı? Bana göre hayır çünkü Portekiz 1. Yarı finalde ve bulunduğu yarı finalde çok güçlü şarkılar var bir de jüri oyları da yok artık yarı finalde ve Portekiz' in son 2 yılda tv oylarını baz alırsak ya ucu ucuna finali görür ya da tıpkı 2014 yılında olduğu gibi ucu ucuna elenir (dipnot 2014 yılında ülke 1 puan farkla finali San Marino' ya kaptırmıştı)
Uğurcan saçmalıyorsun. Ne şarkılar finale çıktı, bu mu çıkmayacak? Biz ve ekimiz Mimicat'in arkasındayız. Geçen seneki Saudade gibi olacak sonuç.

@@Sad_party_cat666evet, 2021 ve 2022'de Azerbaycan'ın olduğu yarı finaller kadar zor değil bence. Portekiz'e gelene kadar 6-7 ülkenin ölüm grubunda olduğu ortada (sahnelerinden ve seslerinden ötürü). TV oyu açısından 8-9 olabilir, yukarıda birisinin söylediğine katılıyorum.

Ayrıca zevkine bir şey deseydim "zevksiz" gibi bir kelime geçerdi ki asla tarzım değil. Herkesin kendince listesi vardır. Sadece finale kalmayacağını düşünmek yanlış geldi bana. Şu an bakıldığında İsveç, İsrail, Finlandiya ve Norveç dışındaki bütün ülkenin şarkıları tehlikede. Şurada ne kaldı, bekleyip göreceğiz.
