I was born with my fingers from my left hand deformed but I learned how to play drums. I can't do alot of fancy drum rolls but I can play as tight in the pocket like a drum machine. Rick Allen is my hero
I was so young when he died that I forget how young he was when he died. 30 years old, he was still a baby. Almost more tragic in hindsight. I found out about his death when I was a very young kid and had posters on the wall and such.
Nah. Hysteria is your average, generic 80s glam metal. It has some decent songs, but its nowhere NEAR as good as On Through the Night or High N Dry. Just my opinion.
Doesn't sound to me like he's having any hearing problems. Joe sounds great considering they hadn't yet started tuning down a half-step for all their live shows like they do nowadays.
I wish I could say I felt the same way, but for me, most hard rock died in the 90s and early 2000s. That being said, my musical tastes have changed a lot, with what many call "indie rock" being one of my favorite generes now.
1988, Bramlage Coliseum, Manhattan, Kansas. She was the love of my young life. She came up from her school and met me at my apartment. She was a gorgeous 80s girl, ripped jeans, big hair beautiful eyes. We pre gamed at the apartment, then to the show which was spectacular. Then back to my place...but it wasn't to be. She is still one of my best friends. I loved her then, I love her now. Hysteria brings it all back. Can't stop this feeling. Can't stop this fight. Hysteria when you're near.
I went to their Hysteria concert in 1988 in Atlanta. Awesome. A great time. The drummer did a solo and I thought it was amazing how he could still play the drums using his feet. His drum set rose up in the air and he was amazing. 💕😃
It's allways great to see videos of Steve Clark. And I love seeing videos that brings me back when I was a kid again and again like this one.Great times.
@@benparsons4979 For the wrost. Just kidding. Hysteria is a much better album though, still sounds great today, better selection of songs. Slippery When Wet has 3 good songs, the rest is just filler, but that's only my opinion.

Had 3 tickets for my friends and I to see them in Minneapolis. Would’ve been first time seeing them for all of us. Refunded the tickets as I’m not comfortable going until there is some form of vaccine available but will be buying them again when this virus gets under control
This is what you show a kid today what your music was at seventeen. My ears puke at kids music today but will their guys still be touring over 30 years after to sold out shows still ummm I don’t think they even book a current tour for one song non album music do they?

I was about 11 and I would play it over and over again imagining I was a rock star like Steve. Years later i too had my own band and Les Paul became my fave ax to play because of Steve. Love Def Lep! Thank you for posting this. It was nice to see Steve Steamin Clark again. I still have my pristine condition promotional copy of High and Dry cassette ! I used to play it on, in my day a ghetto blaster in the halls of my high school at lunch time. Nobody but me even knew who they were then. As I live in Utah I tell folk's who come here to set their time machines back 10 year's as we were that far behind the world. Lol ! On Through the Night Album was how I found out about them. There used to be a chain of stores called The Record Bar and the District manager was a family friend. So I got first crack at all the great promo. Albums etc. Thanks for the flashback ! ✌from Utah.
I'll always be grateful to have seen DL for this tour in Houston, Tx!! I think it will always be my most favorite concert EVER, next to seeing Classic Journey in concert!

God bless Rick Allen for not giving up on drums and God bless his friends for not giving up on HIM!
I was going to post that same sentiment. Really incredible how they made that happen.
Did you see his face when Brian May was inducting them into the R & R hall of fame?
