I Found Some Ancient Indian Ruins Not On Any Tourist Map / Blanding ~ UT

While camping up some obscure dirt road near Blanding, Utah, I stumbled upon these ancient Puebloan Ancestral ruins in a canyon below my camp spot, which I've called Anasazi, because they often use that name in this area. Finding places like this off the beaten path always feels extra special, rather than just following All Trails or some tourist map. It's also one of the reasons I love my lifted AWD Astro Van, as Studley gets me into places that many other vehicles can't go, and I don't always know what's up ahead and what I'm getting myself to, as in this case.

I also want to address the fact that I entered the building, which I wouldn't do normally. I've been to many sites where the doorways are big enough to enter easily without touching the walls or door frame, and it is accepted as safe to do so, especially in areas that are not pristine or remote. This was one of them, and although this area wasn't known to me, it is clearly visited by many locals, who even camp there and have fires, and possibly ceremonies because there were tons of footprints in the building, and part of the wall had been propped up by someone. This was a rare opportunity to enter one safely and feel what it felt like. My bad was sharing that clip because it could imply to others that it's okay to enter these buildings, for which I apologize.
