What can i say, the man was in need of a tool! enjoy Mike, and I agree with you. I really love the signal for somethings, but it hasn't replaced my skeletool as a EDC.
I've had the same skeletool for about 5 years, I finally caved into trying one after watching you for a while. There have been many times that I thought I lost it over the years, and about 2 weeks ago it finally happened for real. Ive been holding out on buying a new one in hopes it turns up again.
Yeah Mike… I bought a Skeletool CX because of you…. Then I bought a second one for my brother the day after. This was probably 4-5 years ago maybe…. Great to see your channel and life evolve over time. Keep up the hard work and enjoy the time with your family as much as possible. Take care!
The reason for the Knipex and a knife over a multitool is because the pliers on a multitool dont do a good job on bolts. They are horrible at gripping bolts, whereas the Knipex work great. Like you said EDC is about having something on you to fix it on the spot. We all drive vehicles and or use machines. The Knipex allows you to have something on you that is extremely useful in mechanic work where a multitool olier wouldn't work well at all. For me I am switching my EDC to a skeletool as a knife replacement and a driver, and Knipex pliers for my main pliers, and a trsditional folding knife (either a stockman for choice of more exact blade for the cutting task, or a swiss army knife for additional tools for functionality). I am very active and alwasy working in things and have 5 kds who always want something fixed. I want to have tools that are not just "multitool", which arent always as effective as a standard tool, but have capabilities closer to a standard tool. I feel this new combo will get the job done better.
My dairy farmer brother in law used to make so much fun of me over my leatherman wave. He he bets I don’t use half of the tools on it. One year I got fed up with hearing it and bought him one for Christmas. I never really heard much about it until he lost it one day. Then he realized how much he was using it!!! Love the content, keep up the good work!
I won’t Cary a multi tool without a saw, my friend was busting a trail in the woods and we got high centered on a group of scrap trees and bushes. I was able to cut enough with my multi tool saw to get the wheels down. Ive use the saw a lot even on projects that I should have walked to the garage and grabbed a real saw 👍😁👍
Don't stop! Whinners will be whinners. You do good work keep that up and always keep family number one and the priority. The people here will understand.

You mentioned at the end of your video: what would your viewers like to see. As it might not be “popular” I’m very interested to hear how your life as an outdoorsman and as an EDC resource to others has changed after having your children. It’s a constant thought for me as I prepare for the future and everyday scenarios. Thanks
As a service plumber I use my Knipex 10x more than my knife, and on the rare occasion I need needle nose instead I just go get them from my tool bag. My work pocket knife also tends to get pretty dirty with more than just dirt, and needs to be cleaned and sanitized several times a week, sometimes even disassembled and sanitized. That’s far easier to accomplish with a simple 100% stainless pocket knife than it is with a multi tool. As for the screwdriver, I have a Wera pocket ratchet and a small bit holder with half cut bits that I keep in my pocket. That works for all the standard/security bits I deal with daily. Most multi tools aren’t even compatible with the security bits I deal with daily. When it comes to the weekend or after work edc, I tend to just stick with what I already have in my pockets. The knife that’s already clean and sharpened for work. The ratchet with bits that I know intimately. And the Knipex that I could use blindfolded with my left hand while in a drunken stupor. That’s why I don’t carry a multi tool. I do love the concept and theory of a multi tool though. The Leatherman Arc is one that I’ve had my eye on for a minute now, mostly because of the MagnaCut blade. Great video!
You are spot on with this video, I have carried the Skeletool about 10 years. I have tried several other combos, but always come back to the Skeletool.
Good video! I have carried my Skeletool CX for probably 5 years now. Have several other multi tools and who knows how many knives but the CX is the one clipped in my pocket 😎✌️
Free P4 all day! Love the magnets and it’s fun to play with. My only complaint is that the pocket clip is oriented upside down. When you pull the tool out you have to flip it around to open one-handed. Big oversight in my opinion.
Great video! If you design a better skeletool i'll buy it and tell everyone I know that would want one. It seems like it would be possible to massively increase the amount of tools while staying the same size. Weight might have to go up a bit since it will be more robust, but if the size is the same, then it will be a bigger winner than the skeletool. For example, I carry the tiny vicotinox in addition to the skeletool just for the scissors. Would be nice to get rid of that tiny tool and integrate that in the skeletool.
I carry a Leatherman 7 days a week and have been for the better part of 35 years. Started with the original, went to the Wave for 20 years and now I carry a Charge TTi in a brown leather belt sheath. They have saved many steps, saved me and helped others. I’ll always carry one.
Skeletool is my dress tool, shirt and tie / jacket or suit. Wave or Free P4 for boots or sneakers days. Skeletool is light enough for dress clothes and keeps one equipped.
Mike, you’re right on about the P2. I’d love to see a P2 with the same pliers, a P4 blade, thinner with less filler tools. I’d love a secret bit holder too.
I carry a Knifeless Rebar all the time and when I can carry a knife, I carry either a random folding knife or my SOG Powerpint. I am thinking about getting a Leatherman Signal for long motorcycle rides, and then I will have something in case I have a breakdown and I can't find help. I am either going to buy the Signal or buying a spark rod and maybe put a lighter in my motorcycle. I need to put a small med kit under my motorcycle seat as well. I am always using my multitools and I always have a Victorinox Rambler and a small Olight IR2 Pro on a locking carabiner on my belt lupe. Even building that has knife regulations for my work alows me to go in with my small Victorinox. The 1 thing I love about the Signal, I always have a pocket pouch with a set of 49 different bits, since I always need to work with different types of screws, both construction/building type and electrical. I carry the Rebar bit adapter as well. The Signal has a 1/4 hex on the hammer that can handle alot of torque, in a tight situation, and all you need is a string to jam the bit in to retain the bit. I sometimes have to pop a single nail in or pop a lose nail in that some other worker that didn't pop it down and I have to go down a ladder sometimes to get a hammer. I wish the Signal had a Phillips driver, flat pry tool, and a file, instead of the can opener, bit adapter and the Awl. The bottle opener is another plus. You have a sparking rod and knife sharpener for emergencies to top it off. I love my Rebar plier head, so this is the same. I do wish my Rebar had a pocket clip, because I would get a regular Rebar for emergencies with separate spark rod but I don't want to where a sheath outside of work and I don't want a multitool floating in my pocket. I don't trust a stick on clip, so I am seriously thinking about the Signal. The Green 1 looks sick. Both my Knifeless Rebar and the Signal is similar weight. I am seriously thinking about getting this Signal now. It might be a Christmas gift for myself, from myself. 😂
The diversity and rambling of the channel is what keeps me here. In all honesty I'm not a car guy or build your own house person, but still love those videos as well. Keep it up!
I've determined that having two of the same Leatherman has been beneficial. I've had to send in one of the tools for warranty work, and having a backup while one is gone comes in clutch.
So many people have good things to say about the Leatherman warranty that it makes me think that Leatherman quality is not what it used to be. I prefer the softer steel that the Victorinox's have becasue they bend instead of break. I have broken 3 Leathermans but have never broken a Victorinox and have been carrying a Victorinox 4 times as long
You’re just a good guy and that is truly the number one reason why I watch your videos. Look forward to seeing your collab with hopefully leatherman!!!
A Milwaukee Fastback 6 in 1 is good along with a Knipex 4" plier. I edc a Gerber MP600 in a Clip&carry sheath. The choice for me depends on the weather. If I'm wearing a jacket then i have more pockets to carry let's say a larger flashlight, a prytool, etc. In warmer weather I'm carrying as less as possible. And i try to preanticapate what tasks I'll encounter during my day. Really enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Check out Skeletool mod videos. Guys are making their Skeletools able to use T-shank saws, making awls for the bit driver, etc. The Skeletool can be made into a bad ass little tool
A good EDC to carry is the Leatherman Wave + . I carry a Leatherman Surge most of the time. Amazing tool with so many tools. If I'm going out I carry the Wave + in my pocket with the clip. Plus, both have wire cutter,Strippers and cripes. The Surge has a blade exchanger, which comes in handy many different tools for that..
Keep doing random videos. Not every video is up my alley, but I always watch them and enjoy them. Variety keeps it fresh. All the best to you and the fam.
You need a Free P2. It’s really not much heavier than the Skeletool. Offers robust pliers and cutters, scissors, longer screwdrivers (good for recessed screws). and all one hand opening everything. There’s a lot of cool modifications for them by a company called shapeways. I got a bit holder which is more valuable to me
You're %100 correct. I have two skelatools and can't seem to find anything to replace it. Just seems to fit all my needs. So I've actually just come to realize the skelatool is the best for me. Thanks for loving is so much to make me want to buy it 😂
ive had multiple leathermans over the years and i almost bought a skeletool because of you, years ago. what i DID buy... was your flannel and the vertx pants as well. damn glad i did. now just awaiting the right colors to come back in stock.
I'm a P4 guy, but mine came with the pocket clip. I cant do the belt carry either. It was a game changer for me. As a fisherman, when I need pliers there is a 90% chance I have a fish or net in the other hand.
I had the very first Gerber multi tool that came out when I was a kid... I'm 56 now. Nowadays I carry one of 3 Leatherman tools depending on my plans for the day. A MUT for shooting outings, a signal, with bit kit when out on my dirt bike and a P4 I keep in my truck... Now looks like I may need to check out the skeletool. I run into the same issues in that I've never found the holy grail of multi tools.
Bro I bought my skeletool a couple years ago after watching your video and have loved it ever since! Thanks for your honest opinion here! You should make a series of the dad life style I just became a dad too and think it would be a hit!
The skeletool is king. You don’t need to drop the skeletool to try something new. Have you checked out shapeways? They make upgraded accessories that makes the skeletool even better. The hammer jammer, the sweet tooth pry bar, the Scalpel holder that replaces the blade.
I always play your videos while I’m at work welding it’s like your here lacing me up with information I otherwise wouldn’t have know about in terms of particular products/gear so thanks for rambling I’m here for it
Try the SOG PowerAcess, it's a great little all around tool, just an oz heavier than the Skeletool. I like that you can flip it open like a butterfly knife for pliers, but all the tools are on the outside like the Leatherman Free MT. Another option is the SOG PowerPint if want something smaller and lighter.
Mike got me into EDC , My Olight flashlight , flipside wallet and my Leatherman wingman is all because of llod . I chose the wingman because of its smaller more pocket friendly size and spring loaded pliers. We all would love to see a "LLOD" edition Leatherman multi tool
Mike, you didn't ramble at all. I like the in depth information you had on the various multi-tools. I don't have a Leatherman skeletool, but my interest in getting one was definitely peaked after watching this video. Thanks again for the great info.
HD has a Crescent 4 1/2" tongue and groove pliers for $10. My friend won't use anything smaller than the Wave because he constantly needs larger pliers (diesel tech). I find that if I'm actually using the pliers for bolts, I like something bigger than the Skeletool pliers, but they work fine for needle nose pliers tasks. I switched to the Crescent pliers and a LM C33T and rarely miss my wire cutters or scissors... gave up on a MT saw when I actually tried using a sub 4" saw versus a 7-10"+ folding saw (although I don't do a lot of wood finishing work with a MT). If I actually need to use my MT, I find the old Juice S2 much more comfortable for longer or heavier duty tasks than my Signal or Skeletool. Favorite medium size MT is the Vic Spirit, but I often carry the Curl. Unfortunately, the Curl's pocket clip lets the MT slide around on the pocket instead of sticking in one place.
Make videos about things your passionate about. It comes through. I'd love to see house updates as things progress. But keep doing cars, trucks, prepping, camping, gear, etc. I think most people here just appreciate you and your opinions as an honest man.
I’m going to subscribe not because I’m totally interested in the contact you make but you seem like a humble, honest guy that is going to tell the truth
I’m one of the thousand that owns a Skeletool because of you. On me daily and would buy one in a heart beat that you would design . Been carrying mine for four years now.
Love this video! And I love that I got a Skeletool 5 years ago. Currently I have 2 of them. I also have 20ish other multi tools. Mostly keep them in other kits or in different trucks I drive. Always a pleasure Mike! Congrats on the new house!!!
I must say after watching your video several years ago about the Skeletoll, I went out and bought one.. I hung up my Gerber and Microtech and use it almost everyday, also converted several coworkers to do the same!!! Leatherman owes you some commissions…
@LLOD Mike I say don’t ever apologize for the direction YOU take YOUR channel and content in. Change it up, take in ANY direction you want to. Keep it interesting for you and I guarantee the majority of your followers will find interesting as well! If YOU don’t find it interesting and enjoyable to make the content, like everything else in life you end up not doing those things. If you don’t find a comfortable and practical way to carry the edc you tend to stop carrying it, etc.
Tightening things at other people's houses is such an underrated comment 😂 I do it all the time. Thanks for getting me on the skeletool gang. I am also the guy everyone goes to for a knife, bottle opener, pen, etc
I did same thing, when i first got here in the US back in 1991, i saved up some money to buy that swiis army knfe, swiss champ, one of the most complete feautres, it was $120 that time and i was just making $4.25 per hour. I was so happy when i bought and used to keep it in my fanny pack. I was inspired by McGyver growing up in the Philippines watching the series on tv.
I love my Signal. I have it in that green color too. I don’t EDC it though. I think it’s worthy of it, but I just keep it in my outdoor pouch until I really need it.
I switched to the Free p4 about 3 years ago, and I love it. Mine has a clip, though, so I'm surprised yours didn't have one. It is large, so if you're willing to give up a couple of tools, check out the Free p2. 🤘🤙✌️
Hey Mike, intriguing video. I just recently started carrying a knife and a Leatherman multi tool. I believe it is the Skelotor. It was a random purchase at a hardware store one day when I saw it thought it might be handy to keep in the center consul of the rig. In regards to being that guy. my outlook on that is, it’s just being a good human; be well prepared, well, trained and help those who you can. But I grew up in a very outdoorsy, family, hunting fishing camping lots of camping boating, and usually around quite a bit. A Motorsports never felt it necessary to carry a knife or a multi tool even when the Leathermans first came out and everybody had one I’ve always covered toolbox, I still do but having one on my person is very convenient of not have to do like you said, and going patch a tool from the toolbox for something minor and quick.
OK I went out and looked in the center consul of the jeep. The Leatherman multi tool I have is a Signal. I can honestly say I’ve taken out and looked at it maybe a handful of times and I’ve never used it. My EDC is a Leatherman Free multi knife. That said also in the center console, I have a bunch of Swiss Army knives, some original Leatherman micro tools, and one original Leatherman full size tool. Most of this is handed down from relatives, which is kind of accumulated in the console of the rig when I went full-time.
The scenario you described, noticing a loose cabinet door and fixing it on the spot. That is exactly what just happened to me a few days ago (just moved into a new house) Needless to say the cabinet is still loose and this video is what reminded me 😅 I keep a multi in my center console. I think you just convinced me to EDC it instead!
Yay a Rambling Mike Video. Yes you got me to buy a Skeletool, I was trying to get the same Damascus blade but had no luck. Hey that’s the color of the flannel I bought, even though I can only wear it about 3 months out of the year or if I travel somewhere on the mainland
i must say the bottle opener on the skeletool is a huge + for being there and w/o the need to deploy it. its just there and ready to use. i had the micro version of it before and lost it.
The Skeletool CX is dam near perfection for EDC. I would have some recommendations, like you say “I can do it better”. But been carrying one for years and love it. Any bigger and I’d carry my Arc or wave but that’s usually too heavy
One example (of too many to type out here) I was glad that I had a multitool: Riding my bike one day, went over a highway bridge and a downed tree laid across the sidewalk ahead. The thinner branches crossed over the sidewalk, that is, so I take out my pliers multitool and clip off all the branches, threw them in the woods and moved on. Everyone else would not bother doing anything about it, they'd just ride around it and basically nothing would get done about it. Again, that is one of MANY examples of why it's great to have multitools in the pocket. Another time a pitbull ran up on me while I was at a STOP sign on my mountain bike. The dog barked, stood there, then ran home when the owner yelled at him. At that time I had my multitool on me which could be used to open the blade with one hand. Thankfully that pitbull was not vicious but IF it was and chomped on my arm, I could use a blade to _inspire_ it to let go. These clueless, complacent numbskulls who criticize us for carrying multitools, blades or other selfdefense tools, they're the same types who are professional victims. Really. They're just victims waiting to happen, and they won't learn their lesson until it's too late. By that time, they'll be dead and won't be able to say how much they regret not preparing beforehand. 🤦♂️🤷♂️😐 Ignorant is ignorant. They have to learn in their own, sadly.
Mike love the rambling videos. I have been enjoying your wide variety of content for a few years now. Thank you for your insight and experience on the products you edc and have field tested. I picked up a skeletool the other month and never realized I would use it so much. Grew up with a knife in my pocket and Swiss Army knife when out and about. Looking forward to snagging some holsters from you when you get everything back up and running. You coming out with some more Vertx colab? I think of you did a bag similar to the Gamut it would be badass. No need to apologize for being “lazy”, enjoy your family and your new house. God bless and take care my friend.
A tool with some sort of cutters, scrapers, screwers, pokers, pryers, grippers and a possibly a file will cover 99% of daily tasks for average person (and a flashlight is super handy). I use a tweezers a lot and most multitools don't have one so I can't give up my keychain SAK yet (which is far more useful than most people would think). While it has its shortcomings, I quite like my sog powerpint... Also manufacturers should also come up with more bladeless tsa compatible small multitools for travel.
Also if your keychain sak knife is unused, it might be scalpel sharp. Good for ad hoc “surgery” In fact today, I had a mini carbide drill break off into my thumb knuckle today :) it’s a needle thin drill. Yay me! Surgery time! Typing this hurts..😂
Familiarity, use case, and what you actually need for your day to day are what drives actual EDC. I don’t think there will ever be an end all multi-tool. I’ve carried a Wave and a separate folding knife for the last 8 years and it’s simply because I’ve become so used to it. I know my limitations with EDC but for whatever reason I feel like I’ve got all I need day to day.
I also bought the Skeletool due to you and Talon !!! I also agree 10000% with yyou on ALL the subjects you spoke of as far as other multitool companies and different kinds/models out there. I feel the Leatherman Signal is a lil over kill for "EDC" ... I'll def be sticking with the Skeletool. As always congrats to you and Ashley on Lil Mans arrival and yalls new amazing home !!! Stay Safe brother - -Jason-
This is my favorite video of yours man! Great one. I coincidentally carry a skeletool cx in my left lower pocket every day. Got it for 60 bucks at a knife shop. I also have the signal and charge+g10. They're excellent but I'm with you on the damn skeletool.
I would like to weigh in on the mini Knipex cobra pliers. I work in a secured facility and can not carry a blade of any kind on my person while at work, much less a multitool. But I do have a set of keyring screw drivers (Philips and Flat) and a pair of Knipex mini cobra pliers in my pocket. Having this meager set of tools has allowed me to fix numerous minor issues without putting in a maintenance ticket. I would normally carry a pocket folder and a Leatherman multitool but I can't. Also the Vertex flannel jacket is very nice, glad I scored one.
For me..... mostly anyway.... its all about convenience.... that's why i carry a multi tool as well......i hate putting things off... I'm the same way... if something is loose...i wanna be able to tighten it immediately.... and for me... while i do have lots of multi tools..... all for diff situations.... my skeletool is absolutely my most carried.... and yes back in i think around 2016 i bought my first skeletool after watching one of your videos!!!! Its great.... but i feel like it needs a little upgrade... like i wish there was a way to be able to store one more extra bit on the handle to make 2 extra bits...
Mike, I really enjoy the variety you bring to your videos - super multi-dimensional! You keep doing you and I will keep watching. Congrats on the new baby and house!
I'm a Gerber guy but I also have the SOG with the bit set. I haven't spent a lot of time with Leatherman. The drawback for me, early in my MT experience, was that Leatherman was sharp edged on the body and made them uncomfortable
Knipex is pronounced with a hard K like Kanipex.. I digress. I used a skeletool for like 10 years then switched to the Signal. You missed the whistle (the signaling device). I like it’s heavier duty nature. I’ve bent the frame of skeletool but never bent the Signal. Great vid!
anyone could design a leatherman better then the current ones, even LM could but they own the MT market and are tanking it as there is no competition for them, they're still cashing in on designs from the early 2000's
Mike always apologizes for the rambling, but honestly, we're here for it.
Agreed
Yes we are. One of the things we love about Mike is the “rambling”. Lol
Corrrrreeect
Purchased Skeletool few years back after watching your video and carried it ever since. Wishing for Leatherman and LLoD collaboration multi tool!

Check the seatbelt down low by the floor - every once and a while the pocket clip gets stuck on the belt and it takes a ride down there haha
@LastLineOfDefense Sure would be nice, but it'll be a spare by that time.
@@justanother2day I've temporarily lost a few Olights that way, unfortunately not the case this time.
@@elijahthompson3899 did you find the skeletool?
Yeah Mike… I bought a Skeletool CX because of you…. Then I bought a second one for my brother the day after. This was probably 4-5 years ago maybe…. Great to see your channel and life evolve over time. Keep up the hard work and enjoy the time with your family as much as possible. Take care!

You design a multi tool and I’m all in!! Good video bud! Spend all the time you can with that kiddo they grow so fast! And change even faster.
I’ve been carrying the skeletool since the start of the pandemic because of you

I carry a Leatherman 7 days a week and have been for the better part of 35 years. Started with the original, went to the Wave for 20 years and now I carry a Charge TTi in a brown leather belt sheath. They have saved many steps, saved me and helped others. I’ll always carry one.
Absolutely - carrying a multitool saves a ton of time for the super simple tasks that would otherwise be neglected or put-off.
I was EDCing a Charge, then a Signal and changed to Skeletool after watching a few of your videos, it has been my main EDC tool ever since.
I have broken 3 Leathermans but have never broken a Victorinox and have been carrying a Victorinox 4 times as long
@@waholoopesorry74 I agree, I was shocked when/how my blade broke. If it weren't for the warranty, I probably would have jumped to another brand.
@@pittvypr one is never enough. I have one that I carry and then the same in my vehicles.
Two is one, haha.
If Leatherman ever jumps onboard with Mike, we need and Od Green/Orange LLOD special edition skeletool. Put me down for 3 orders please.
Yep, got a Skeletool a couple years ago thanks to you and carry it all the time. It comes in handy. Also got one for my son-in-law.
I have a Leatherman Rebar and Gerber MP600. Just ordered a black and tan Skeletool. Hope I like it.
I got a bit holder which is more valuable to me
I can vouch for the fact that I have bought and carry skeletools because of your videos!
You should make a series of the dad life style
I just became a dad too and think it would be a hit!
The skeletool is king.
You don’t need to drop the skeletool to try something new. Have you checked out shapeways? They make upgraded accessories that makes the skeletool even better. The hammer jammer, the sweet tooth pry bar, the Scalpel holder that replaces the blade.
Gerber Lockdown Pry is a great prybar tool. I love mine. It checks all the boxes minus a plyer.
I always play your videos while I’m at work welding it’s like your here lacing me up with information I otherwise wouldn’t have know about in terms of particular products/gear so thanks for rambling I’m here for it
You should look into the Leatherman Arc when it comes out. Might be a little big but fixes almost everything wrong with the free p4.
I was about to say, you’d probably like the spirit.
I got one that had a blunt tip and full serrated blade, I bet most would like that blade just
Make videos about things your passionate about.
You inspired almost my entire edc. You actually inspired TO edc. Can’t thank you enough.
I am also the guy everyone goes to for a knife, bottle opener, pen, etc
haha yes! im always doing this and its the best haha
Please bring back more firearm content. Regardless, love what you're putting down and will keep watching and supporting MIke!
That is exactly what just happened to me a few days ago (just moved into a new house)
Needless to say the cabinet is still loose and this video is what reminded me 😅
I keep a multi in my center console. I think you just convinced me to EDC it instead!
This video actually couldn’t have come at a better time. I was just researching a multi tool to start carrying. Decision made.
Oh and I bought one of the flannels you designed. I bought a holster a long time ago. I love them both and cant wait for future designs.
Got picked in a “raffle” at work and got a leatherman wave+ multi tool as a prize. Enjoying it so far
Mike I’ve been watching you for years and I finally caved and got a skeletool and I totally agree it’s top tier EDC item it complete replaced my knife
I carry a leatherman multi-tool because of you. It is my most used EDC item.
Good for ad hoc “surgery”
In fact today, I had a mini carbide drill break off into my thumb knuckle today :) it’s a needle thin drill.
Nice flannel dude!
Appreciate it!
Stay Safe brother -
-Jason-
Been wanting that green and topo leather man for awhile now, I think this video finally pushed me over the edge I’m ordering one today!
This is my favorite video of yours man! Great one. I coincidentally carry a skeletool cx in my left lower pocket every day. Got it for 60 bucks at a knife shop. I also have the signal and charge+g10. They're excellent but I'm with you on the damn skeletool.
The old school eod sog is my favorite multi tool
Just needed a pocket clip
Fastest oping tool
I did buy my first (and then 5-8 more for gifts) Skeletools based on your video from a while ago ... my EDC
Great stuff Mike, I too carry the Skeletool every day and use it way more than any tool I own.
I still have my Leatherman Wave I bought in 2009. Love it. I have a Wave+ I keep on my gun belt now, too. I might get a Mutt for that slot though
For me..... mostly anyway.... its all about convenience.... that's why i carry a multi tool as well......i hate putting things off...
Mike, we just like you being you!
Mike, I really enjoy the variety you bring to your videos - super multi-dimensional! You keep doing you and I will keep watching. Congrats on the new baby and house!
Ive purchased 2 skeletools because of you. Definitely want to see you work with a company to design the perfect EDC tool.
I’m getting there to be ‘that guy’ because you Mike and thanks for it!
I bought the Skeletool because of you and its a great Multitool.! If Leatherman will work with you on a collaboration, I would buy it.!
Speaking to using the right tool for the job. I used my skeletool’s knife to pry on something and broke the tip of the knife off. BIG sad 😔
Man Ive been subscribed since 25k, just gets better.
I'm a Gerber guy but I also have the SOG with the bit set. I haven't spent a lot of time with Leatherman. The drawback for me, early in my MT experience, was that Leatherman was sharp edged on the body and made them uncomfortable
Hey Mike
Proud of you . Been watching your channel from your range days . Wow you have grown your name into a huge way . Again great job sir
Knipex is pronounced with a hard K like Kanipex.. I digress. I used a skeletool for like 10 years then switched to the Signal. You missed the whistle (the signaling device). I like it’s heavier duty nature. I’ve bent the frame of skeletool but never bent the Signal. Great vid!
I pack a Wave every day. It's overkill, but I love it.
anyone could design a leatherman better then the current ones, even LM could but they own the MT market and are tanking it as there is no competition for them, they're still cashing in on designs from the early 2000's
