Hey Mike! As a fellow Coloradan with a family of 5, I wanted to mention you should consider either another barn or leaving space for the kids to play in your big barn. We built a pole barn and put down some astroturf inside so the kids could play in the winter and it’s be an absolute life saver.
Great video Mike! Quick note - I've seen people getting sick from moldy Owala bottles. Be sure to pop out the rubber seal from the inside of the lid and give it a scrub once in a while.
The holster is worth the price. Its on par with the price of every other sidecar style holster but its a small business that makes a great product and you stand behind that product. And the form factor is my favorite on the market. Once I got my first pair of vertx pants I havent gone back. Wearing the same shorts rn lol honestly its the back pocket wallet trap that did it. Ruined all other pants for me. Crocks stay in the truck. Favorite camp shoes. Lems. Topo. Carolina. Got my feet covered. And yup room temp water is the jam. I'm a milsucky guy thanks to my ol ladies late father. And a fapon guy thanks to my pa. Could say I lucked out but.. replacing stuff and expanding is expensive lol. Fishing I bring a mora. Camping and hunting I bring an esee. Cam buckle straps are thee jam. So good. Loved the video. Good stuff as usual.
The 3M work tunes ear protection is so good. I put them on to listen to podcasts even to mow the grass and they usually stay on even after the noise when I'm washing the truck.
Unrelated but it’s a new video you dropped so I’m commenting. I drive a Toyota 2022 Venza and I just found out a lot of Gen 5 RAV4 parts are compatible! So it’s getting a Stage 3 lift kit from Northwoods Performance soon! I’m an Uber driver and I want added clearance for bigger tires, stiffer springs to accommodate my passengers and their junk, and more ground clearance to get through the snow in the winter. Also I’m excited to watch this gear video. I’ll probably buy something lol. Hope you and the fam have been well Mike! Black multicam hat, tan mesh panels, tan stitching and leather patch! If not tan then green.
I use a pair of kids fiskars scissors. I believe they are 5 inch so quite small. They come with a little sheath so I can throw it in my pocket without worry. They are amazing. Who would have thought $4 kids scissors would be one my most used items. Sometimes scissors are just the best tool for the job.
I love my owala bottle the concept of being able to grab one handed take a sip and then if you really get moving and need a lot just tilt and chug away. Have you tried the wrangler ATG pants and shorts? They are like $25-$30 and super lightweight but still pretty durable just wish the pockets had a little steeper angle so you could access stuff easier when sitting down
Thanks for creating this video and sharing your ideas. Very helpful. Clicked on a few things right away. The Ryobi is a great idea. Been using cans of duster to clean tight, hard to get to areas, which is wasteful. I'd definitely watch another vid like this.
I’ve probably watched most all your videos and for some reason, I finally pulled the trigger on the skeleton 🤷🏾♂️ (and yes I used your link in your Amazon store.) I do own 6 pair of Delta Stretch 2.1 pants. They are my Superman pants and I too wear them EVERYDAY!
@@LastLineOfDefense my wife got me a benchmade engraved with my initials that I don’t carry bc this thing is so sweet when I want to be ultra minimalist. But I do love it, super handy.
Fitted hat, no tacticool branding. Local sports team or other "gray man" branding that doesn't give any information out. So many brands are known in the world to the good and the bad guys. I just want to wear a hat that doesn't advertise any readiness/tools etc to those around me.
I live in Evergreen and the only way to plant any new trees in this climate is a water drip. Probably planted 20 in the last few yrs until I got smart.
@@LastLineOfDefense I place it surface level then much over it to keep the water from evaporating. It is best to use a watering stake but too many rocks on my property. Where I found it most helpful is during late fall when the ground is really dry here. My guess is that is when I lost most of my trees.
I lost my first round mostly to pocket gophers actually, they ate all the roots. I don't think my soil is the best, so we'll see. I did add some amendments, but I know there are differing schools of thought on amending native soil.
I love all the gear you showcase except the Delta Stretch pants. They don’t hold up to normal use for me. I mainly were 1620 brand clothing which is made 15 miles from my house!
My only problem with Crocs, is my foot sweat reacts with anything rubbery or plasticy, and really starts to smell bad. But, I did find a pair of Crocs with canvas uppers, stick a natural fiber sole in them, and I can wear them all day. Alas, the canvas upper Croc were on clearance when I found them, and I haven't seen them since.
Wish we had better flatbed options with lockable sections. Seems like Aussie and NZ, K Trucks….. I’d spend extra to have one - especially if it dumps so I’m not loading and unloading tools all the time.
Hey have you ever used a hitch cargo carrier on your family rigs?? Considering using one on my 2nd gen sequoia to free up some interior space....but the dilemma is a steal one vs the high end pakmule one that is 1000 bucks but definitely looks like it might be worth it...maybe you can reach out and compare it to a curt steel one
I've had better luck with the vertx crosscut, although there seems to be variations on the pocket dimensions. My first pair of delta stretch 2.0s has held up alright, but my second pair, the zipper came apart. Also I hate that it isn't long enough, not sure if the pants are designed to ride low or my junk is just lower on my body than the average dude, but I find myself having to pull them down to get clearance without pulling a "something about marry"
Room temperature water? Spew that out just like as god intended 😂. “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.”
60 litres (15Gallons) is usualy the max amount you can legally store inside a garage without a permit. Many house insurance policy also restrict any larger amount. Sure some poeple will say if it burns down they wont be able to determine how much fuel you had. Too bad the owner of this video has a publuc UA-cam channel revealing he stores twelve (12x) 5 gallon / 20 Liters jerry tanks in his garage (total of 240 L or 60 gallons)...Insurance guy / girl will ve happy to deny coverage after learning this!
Think probably only applies to attached garages, but idk. I'm also zoned Ag and unincorporated, so I have no idea what my rules are. Good thing current code requires my house be immune to fire with fireproof everything, to include fire sprinklers. Something like this would be totally illegal then? amzn.to/3YmZ6Th Having said all that - good thing to consider for some!
Follower of the channel and work at my parents family owned and operated for past 20+ years embroidery/screen print/ promotional product company in Montana. Could hook you up with hats no problem.
Yeah all of the land in the 'foreground' kind of is mine - the hills in the background are not mine. I do have neighbors, but none that I could throw a rock to or anything - and there is no worry of any new neighbors any closer than the current ones.

One of the best videos of yours that I like. This is what I want more of. Love the gear stuff
7 panel hat, mesh snap back, . Multicam black. Bronze LLOD stitching. I need it!

I got both Fanttik products based off of your recommendations from other videos & they are definitely worth it! Thanks

Wicking, absorbent running/active hats in military/tactical colors…..specifically an olive drab one for me.
A leather patch would also be nice
Multi cam tropic hats would be rad!
Good Stuff mike! Love hearing about inexpensive products that make sense!
Old Trucker hat by Legacy. By far the most comfortable hat.
110 flexfit please!!! 🙏 they are so comfy and fit my huge head. Love the dark multicam. Leather patch is nice too. Thank you for a great video!
Love Vertex pants! Wear them to work every day!
That's why crocs have a sport mode 😂
Ran a 5k in a pair just to test out the theory. Good to go.
Love the skeletool! Use it everyday
It's hard (impossible?) to beat, for sure.

A LLOD Sports logo would be rad. Maybe one of his dogs as a mascot haha.
I love wearing cheap and goofy shirts. Definitely takes eyes off of me in public.
Richardson 112 hats either m81 or any other color. Best hats on the planet
My skeletool was stolen from my checked bag. Wife got me the signal and am very happy with it
Love my crocs. Great for walking the dogs.
I sure could use a black multicam LLOD boonie hat for my fishing trips.

EDC an Olight and a Skeletool at your recommendation!

On the topic of adjustable wrench, the knipex or icon pliers wrench is an amazing tool. I have like 2 or 3 of them

We’re ready for the Multicam black golf cart
I'm thinking maybe Multicam Tropic...
Have a black multicam hat. I would like to see some solid colors. I don’t always want to stand out in that hat. 😂
Great video!
5:45 You ever actually use the clip on the flashlight to clip onto the bill of your hat? I do that with my Streamlight. Really comes in handy.
