Honestly, they shouldn't have changed the style and designs mid way through the series. It's weird just having one half of the show be one style and the other half be another. They didn't think this through at all 💀

@@thatsneverokay the old models weren't that great either way, and Zag always wanted an updated vision of Miraculous apparently, if anything the animation got worse as the seasons passed, so I can accept the change in this case

guys, the reason why chat noir and rena rouge’s chins are a bit more narrow and longer is because the photo was taken at an angle which made the both characters features a bit squished, so dw, this won’t be in the final product

Adrien looks like his mom but he cant pull off the alien face, renas facial structure is a bit odd and i think she may be a bit too dark idrk and Nino's face makes him look like a baby. Also if ladybug gets a new suit they should atleast give one to Cat Noir if not anyone else.
Tbh, this looks so much better, more appealing and smooth, i way never particularly a fan of the old 3D.
But, in the end of the day, the 2d anime will always be the best style.
Also, Im pretty sure Adriens long face is based on his 2D design which had a long face

Zoe-sama from Tumbr made a great cat noir design. She gave his outfit green for the accent color. And they give him a similar green accent as an alternative outfit in the official game.
What I'm saying is that, it's such a simple change but they just threw it away when designing for the 6th season.

This is a year where this is going to be a learning curve for Zagtoon and all involved, as its a big transition going from the previous software to unreal engine 5 there is a lot to learn and to understand about the suite
As it is usually used for gaming and not television animation, this is the first time in extended use for Unreal Engine 5 where the purpose isn't in gaming and its in television animation
There's a lot to learn for everyone involved on the production as far as learning its controls, what to do with the environments, the characters, the kwami, transformation sequences and detransformation's as well...so on and how to use the software effectively and efficiently as possible
There's a lot that has to be learned and learned quickly in the space of 26 episodes folks, Zag and the team will learn it as it is their duty to learn all else
The animation will perform as fine as it always has been and the show will do well for itself without much trouble at all, it's all going to be ok and won't be a disappointment
Software switches are a significant deal for shows of this scale, once they figure things out, iron out the kinks...etc. Miraculous will do fine for itself as it always has

As a ninjago fan, it's funny to me how every miraculous fan is crying saying having a design change is bad/weird. Do you know what I have to go through?
We had a movie that had nothing to do with the show except for the names, a complete Design change for the characters since Season 8 because of the movie, a new Animation Studio since Season 11, randomply three 2 d animated episodes and the format changed from 20 min episodes to 11 min episode to 20 min episodes again.
So if you think you are unlucky because you favorite show changed, than you are wrong. There are shows with way more changes than what happend to Miraculous.
To end this comment positiv, ninjago survived the changes, it's still has a fanbase and I am still a fan, and the same think will probably happen to Miraculous.
I'm a Miraculous and Ninjago fan as well and immediately had to think about the animation change in Season 8 of Ninjago. The literally same thing is happening to Miraculous right now.

The reason it looks like it’s from a video game is because they’re using unreal engine, which is typically used for more video games than shows. Hopefully this season doesn’t get leaked like last season.
