Hey Toxcyn, I'm late to the game but I see 21 inch monitors for $50 and am thinking about doing this myself. Can you take any PC monitor and add it to a 1up? The monitor I'm looking at has hdmi input. I'm thinking I can just unscrew everything and connect the wires. Also is 21 inch too big?
From my experience with different monitors the Geekworm is extremely picky and troublesome. I’ve used the 1.5 and 2.0 boards and the 20 inch dell is the only consistent one I’ve gotten to work with the stock A1Up pcbs

Question, Why didn't you use the DVI on the monitor with a DVI to HDMI adapter bi directional?
I tried it and it didn’t work. Just a black screen no signal

did you change anything about the speakers? Is there still whitenoise / hissing sound?
I tried upgrading the speakers. The white noise is from the software. Also it had wierd stereo issues so I put the stock speakers back

do ppl actually play online tho?? i got the yoga flame version and didnt find a single person there lol(that not I planned to play but was curious)
Not as much as new but yes mostly on weekends at night. Work hours or early in the day you probably won’t see anyone.
