alting on a SINGLE key is the ultimate troll. genius
Now I wonder if it would be possible to make it on a keypad for example that both keys register as the same one, so that it looks like you are only tapping on 1 key, would be cool if that was possible, just to troll people.

You can’t pretend to be a vtuber.
You stream with a model, you’re a vtuber
The whole point of the video is how the easily the community will accuse of others of hacking with no real proof, like the "blatant aim assist" and all that. 6 of the 8 minutes of the video is just talking the hackusations or things related to that.
By "pretending to be a vtuber" they obviously meant the fact that they only did 3 streams on a different account for the sake of the experiment on. They aren't a vtuber on their actual account with IRL facecam that they stream on all the other days they streamed.
@@MarlowPreston you obviously missed *it*

So they went ahead to accuse players they feel little bit jealous + curious, all without proper evidence
*cheater
no hacking is actually done in order to cheat
their trust is tarnished that they just jump into conclusions
@@sunk45 it’s all assumption tho it may sound like good reasoning but people saying “blatant aim assist” etc act like they can literally see the hacks going on when there’s none at all and they’re just blatantly pulling shit out their ass
@@sunk45 i mean yeah but do you know how arrogant "the aim assist/relax hack is so obvious lololol xd" sounds
There's nobody stopping Zylice from using the Synthia model in the future tho. He could legit become an OSU Vtuber
It's funny that this phenomenon happens in every game: Players calling out your technique as aim-assist / aimbot / cheating and saying things like: "It's so blatant" "so obvious" "toggle" "hacker" as if the actions are impossible for a human. Then once they realize you're a top player they suddenly go: "Oh, that makes sense."
Happens a lot in a ton of games at high elo. You're a hacker until proven otherwise, then once you've proven otherwise no one is surprised when 5 minutes ago they were saying how "blatant and sus" it was, lol.
The issue is hacking can look no different a lot of the time if the cheater is smart.
Seeing through walls can be identical to footsteps if the person doesn't stare at people through walls and reacts to them coming around a corner. It just looks like good reaction time to audio cues.
If 99/100 X a criminals it makes sense to assume that when you meet X they are.
The issue is that 1/100 that gets hurt.
i feel like it's more an issue with competetive communities in general. now although i play very few competetive games, when i do, and when i come across a player who beats me hard, i always assume they're a smurf first, before hackers.
i mean
Mitt Romney's tax plan was more progressive than Newt Gingrich's in 2012.
I had to quit World of Tanks when the player ranking scoreboard mods became popular. My winrate was quite high on my account because I used to play a lot of low tiers in a squad with my dad, and because the mod reported overall winrate on your name, I was "too good to be legit" and got flamed literally every other match for a solid month.

It's funny how every "pro"/"good player" in video games will go through every excuse under the sun to try and downplay the skill of someone they don't know of.
But if they knew you, they'd be defending you through thick and thin, even if you were cheating.
People get such egos man.
most likely because if you see someone not well known and playing very well it’s not really that easy to “defend” their skills considering they might actually cheating (not in the case of this video ofc)
that's not ego, it's just logical. You don't become top 100 level in a game like that overnight, people will know of you on your way up. That's like if me a person who was Silver in Valorant, all of a sudden got to Radiant in a single day and started beating pro players, it's highly improbable at best, and most likely a result of cheating.
a guy pretending to be a girl vtuber with cat ears is somehow the most osu thing i can think of

This is actually a very interesting experiment. Funny how those people will have no problem believing the exact same footage is legit when they recognize the name of the person playing it. The Exact Same footage can be either legit or fake depending of the name attached to it
Yeah. It's kinda sad that good players are automatically assumed to be cheaters, but I can see why they are.
@@DS-os1sy It really goes both ways when you think about it, the bigger problem is all those random people thinking they are experts in cheating, but can pass a cheater if they know the name, and accuse a legit player if they don't know it
This is perfectly reasonable logic, imo. If someone has been playing a game for years, and is famous for being really good at the game, it isn't surprising when they play well. Aside from a few remarkable incidents, the famous top players last long enough to become famous top players by not cheating, otherwise people who actually do know what they're talking about would catch them. The trust earned by their position is almost always justified. They've been grinding for years, the community knows they have those skills, because they saw them develop live on stream.
When some rando shows up out of nowhere playing extremely well, it raises questions. To be playing this well, they must have an enormous amount of practice. Why wasn't that practice done on stream? If you look at most competitive games, the top players start out their public careers in fairly mediocre fashion, then gradually gain skills over time until they become the best. Someone coming out of nowhere with the skills of a top player is inherently suspicious. And this experiment proves exactly why. The person who mysteriously appeared was, in fact, not who they said they were. The viewer's suspicions were completely justified, albeit not in the way they expected.
95% of the time, when a new account appears out of nowhere with top player level skills, in any game, it's either a smurf, as it was in this case, or a cheater.
@@adraen5942 That reminds me of the dream scandal which is a pretty good example of this phenomenon
Go look at religion, or even world leaders.
Many people fall in line just because of the name, in fact that is why we use phrases like "Easy vs West" is to lump people together and immediately encourage or discourage believing them.
You don't even need to experiment, just look at history.

he alted on a key
@@Deastrisk they said it was blatant aim assist too
That shows how easy it is to people to accuse other ofr cheating even it there's a chance they're not.
Osu is a game
The literal only chance that they are not cheating is if a top player was impersonating them. Oh wait...
@@danielyuan9862 THANK YOU
It makes sense that they would be suspicious though, just imagine some random person suddenly has the same level of skill as a 3 digit, not only that but their past is suspicious and the way they play is also suspicious. I’m not defending the people who accused the cheating. However i understand why they do so.
@@V1xtory with that logic, WhiteCat, Vaxei, Mrekk, they all got accused of cheating because they came out of nowhere. I'm just saying that they just jump to conclusions too fast
@@V1xtory it makes sense to be suspicious but exclaiming that they have seen and have proof of hacks when this video shows they don’t is what is really messed up with the community and most other communities with high skill ceilings
this is actually a genius content, and the fact that it's not intentional coz you just have your vtuber model laying around and think of this is nuts. great content Jay, i'm talking about great great content
I wanna know how the self-confident accusers felt when they realize who was behind the model, and that it's a level they're unlikely to reach any time soon and attributed it to cheats. What, they're "justified" because they were getting tricked or pranked? No, they're just mad lol
this just demonstrates how strongly communities like this rely on TRUST and barely anything more, because the viewers clearly can't tell what is and isn't cheating just by looking

I'm actually really happy that I happened across this vid because it reinforced a thought process that I've had for a while. You can be good and a nobody and its "blatant hacks" or good and relatively popular and be a "prodigy". Kind of sucks for good players out there who aren't trying to do anything more than enjoy a game but end up getting report spammed and falsely banned. Sadly, next to no one will get that idea by watching the vid but a guy can hope.
banger video, actually has rewatch value which is unheard of for osu vids
Literally my 2nd time watching this XD
Its crazy that so many people somehow become experts and know what aimassist and all that looks like and they are just completely wrong lol. I mean it sure must have been sus but they had no proof of any hacking and they somehow obviously saw aimassist lol. No wonder so many top players were/are getting banned and loosing interest in the game when people constantly make false accusations. Kinda sad tbh. If you are not at least top 100 you shouldnt get to judge if a player is legit...
yea I would've for sure thought this was cheated but I obviously wouldn't have been able to figure it out lmao. Jumping right into "obvious" conclusions without hard proof doesn't seem like the best idea
99.9% of the time there isn't going to be a "undercover top 100 player" whos behind the monitor deathstreaming 240bpm legitimately. It's just not something that actually happens at all, that's why this video idea is *original*. And most of the time they wont be showing adequate proof of them not cheating like going on McOsu. No one kept assuming that he was still cheating after he played on McOsu.
@@Pxhyre yea that's exactly the point, even if this is unexpected and nobody would have figured out it was zylice before the screenshot stuff it's still dumb to just assume "blatant" when you have no concrete evidence which is exactly what blatant would refer to. Looking at the plays you would've quickly realized it's not relax and while it could still be aim assist there is no hard evidence without looking at the replay.
TLDR: while you can think it's cheated, saying it's blatant when you have no evidence is ridiculous
Yea, there might even be a legitimately good player out there still banned for false cheating accusations. I think if I was not mistaken Ed was actually afraid of being accused and witch hunted so that's why he started streaming and putting his hand cam directly above him.
yea a few years ago that stuff was a bit more common but nowadays these cases are very rare which is great, still happens but you won't get banned just because you get witch hunted anymore.
This experiment was so cool ngl. We need more stuff like this in the community.
the reactions just show how blatantly untrusting and envious people can be
As a dude i feel kinda pathetic they were saying hes bad because he looks like a girl and even said hes cheating just because they didnt expect a girl to be good

This also showcases something that is quite evident in nearly all games, people, typically people who aren't necessairly top 100 good, will often accuse someone of cheating, while not basing it on gameplay, but based on other factors, such as "I don't know who this person is, they can't be this good and not be known" which to some extent can be true, but that's not a verdict if they're cheating or not but rather a character assessment. It's also interesting people jump the boat about the person cheating rather than even taking a guess they're a smurf.

Don’t you just love it when you see someone just jump to the conclusion that the person is hacking with no proof or anything? Their arrogance is repulsive and they probably jump to that conclusion because they just can’t admit the fact that there is always someone better than them.

Now this is an insane concept! wp broski great vid! 🔥🔥
what did we learn? if you're good and you aren't famous, people think you're cheating.
A lot of people seem to be bashing the osu community for being jealous and not being able to tell a hacker from a legit player, but wouldn't anyone call hacks on a brand new twitch account on a new osu account playing like a top 100 player? Context is key, I think people maybe be overreacting a tad here imo
They got it wrong at the end of the day. Their opinions will forever be in question now.
@@TheRealOtakuEdits so how about the dozens other times they got it right? The fuck was your point about lmao
the issue wasn't being suspicious of the player, the issue is making up "blatant" evidence that doesn't exist because they assume the player to be 100% cheating without any real evidence. The correct course of action would have been to check for any signs of actual cheating before just flat out saying they are.
No actually I wouldn't. Unless we're going to be prejudiced in favor of popular players, everyone is subject to the same standards of proof. If you're going to throw out cheating accusations, be prepared to provide actual evidence. Accusations without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
This is the funniest Osu social experiment I've ever seen. You're awesome for doing this LOL

Dude that story of the ban reminded me of the time i got banned on roblox for having oprea gx open in the background with youtube playing it was so wierd
DUDE HOW DO YOU GET THESE IDEAS WTH
havent even watched the whole video and I have to say this is such a creative idea good on ya zylice
I think the worst part is that someone is called a cheater until they are proven to be famous, which you are then no longer a cheater but instead have lots of skill. Being sus is fine and all but that mentality is horrible.
I loved watching all the accusations of cheating on the stream you showed, really highlights how little people know about how to actually cheat in this game no less in general. Every second of it i watched just to make sure for myself and not a single moment i even slightly thought ''oh i couldn't do that with some practice and enough time on the map on my hands' so i knew hands down it's just a good player rolling through the motions; also love the swapping from mouse n keyboard to blatant pen, my god that sht's obvious even watching the cursor between matches it gave it away for me exactly when you swapped styles because there's subtle differences in movement overall and certain limitations and benefits to every form of controls on any game and if you know them then you know if that control scheme will even work long term. Now on the other hand i could care less for the one key'n because unless the person is blatantly showing you them pressing it then there's no real difference that's measurable besides audio that really even matters because you're not skill capped on amount off keys used, just how you utilize them; for example i run 4 keys because my synchronization between hands is great but the individual speed of each is slow so i use 2 buttons on both hands, mouse and keyboard because my accuracy and speed between keys and mouse movements is great but my individual press speed of each finger is abysmally slow so i use more fingers in quick succession to account for this because keeping track of extra tasks in my head is nearly uncapped but my speed of doing those tasks is slow so i just run more tasks and keep swapping between them at equal rates to keep my processing up like a multicore computer would whereas i'd assume a good player like you excels at doing low amounts of tasks at high rates to keep from fudging any of them and opening more mental space for target tracking which is why you're so good at the game in the first place along with experience and honing of skill.
Now, the main reason i would say there's no way you're cheating contrary to the blind sheep in that twitch chat is 1. That cursor simply isn't snapping fast enough to be a script 2. Every movement is smooth between clicks and no blatant stopping or snapping between clicks 3. You actually missed some, like fr a script aint missin sht even if it's bad 4. Why would a script move after any of the sequences and or not snap the instant another sequence starts 5. Even osu's built in auto complete isn't that smooth between keys 6. Your tap timing wasn't a 0 second dead on tap, it was always close but it had a variance even if it was only 0.01seconds and so on, you can hear it in the tone of the taps as well as the perceived loudness of them; open a metronome and listen to how the annoying overlapping echo from it almost doing a flutter effect it becomes and if you can hear it or notice it you'll know what i mean near instantly, and 7 you'd have to deepfake the cam because it's still tracking even if barely, you'd have to use sound files to match each keypress with enough of a variance on each song and press to not produce a sort of metronome fake effect, you'd have to fake both mouse AND pen movements which are both inherently different movesets and speeds, AND you'd have to fake the map fails and scores along with the entirety of the game because you'd have to somehow play custom maps with all this which stops you from prerecording it mid stream which is why i usually stray away from any streamer who outright refuses to ever touch a custom map from viewers for entire streams eventhough they're doing basic maps or not grinding because i get if you're grinding and just can't touch customs because it will legitimately drop your overall.
I saw you streaming when I was looking for other VTubers that play osu to follow! I popped in for a second, saw the play level, and was like “nah fuck that I’m too much of a n00b im not about to embarrass myself LMAO”
