Given these are discontinued I imagine the chances of this are zero.. but I would love one of these in the white colourway that Berserk, Sol, Odin and a few others have been released in recently. Is there any chance of it happening? At all? Ever? :(
I just got one of these, and I've found it doesn't match the infographic posted various places online, which has a different symbol layout! My layout matches this video, but I'm a little unclear what the knobs all do. I think (from top left), they're volume, gain, filter depth, filter frequency, gate, octave.
I changed the position of some of the controls quite a while ago. I had issues with the gain knob being top right as it would sometimes short out against the pins holding the jacks in place. Most of the time it wasn’t a problem, but that’s really not good enough when you make hundreds of these, so I changed them up a bit! You can always email me and we can figure out which one you have if you need any assistance! The controls all remain the same for the different iterations, I’ve just changed their locations!
@@FjordFuzz thank you! I was driving myself crazy following the infographic which meant I’d swapped the gate and drive controls and was convinced it was broken 😂 working as expected now I’d love to see the control layout posted on your website. I had to spend quite a bit of time digging trying to find instructions!
Hey, it's not a fuzz that everyone will enjoy! I have EMBLA for that job! FENRIS is kind of wild and disgusting sounding, but if you bring it into the studio, I can promise you you'll find a bunch of highly musical and useful sounds within it!
@@FjordFuzz - Thanks for the reply - I admire creativity in its many forms - but ice cream comes in different flavors for a reason, one supposes. All the best to you...
@@godfreydaniel6278 Thanks, and certainly! This isn't really the kind of fuzz tone I prefer personally either, so I can totally get where you're coming from. However, in the home studio I've found many surprisingly useful use cases for it and I know there's a bunch of people who absolutely love it! Feel free to check out ODIN or EMBLA though! They definitely fall more into the "musical tones" category!
That was the best response from a bit of push back. With a great honest. Reply not often seen. Well done I own this pedal yet in Australia there was not even a piece of paper about the controls at all. Yet over time I’ve found some maybe not as muffed sounds. That work single coil and my Les Paul. I Agree that it’s a fuzz for a certain song or big Riff. Odin might be my deeper look. Love to see my family blood line & what I’ve followed Norse ways long time. War my Odins war mask through my military career. Now a veteran pensioner. Our dollar puts price up there. So I guess tight up belt save. Great work I’ve subscribed now I’ve found your on UA-cam. Skàl.
Managed to play a V1 recently and loved it and am absolutely dying for a V2. Please!!!!! :)
Thanks! I’ll make it happen!
Genius Fuzz
I hope one day I will have one.
Living in Nicaragua is not the best place to find this kind of gear...😢
I have just ordered mine and can’t wait. It arrives tomorrow. Thank you so much for creating this pedal. It sounds awesome!🙏🔥🤘
Great to hear someone dial in musical tones on a fuzz. Most fuzz reviews suck unfortunately.
You truly make the best fuzzes.
Oh man, thanks so much! I have some serious competition out there!
@@FjordFuzz don’t think so. nothing like this
Can’t wait until mine arrives!
This is a great fuzz! My next one for sure
So NASTY! So many sounds! Just purchased one.
Also, how nicely does this particular fuzz circuit play with buffers?
Should work fine! Buffers always changes everything, but FENRIS is not very picky, especially when compared to oldskool fuzz circuits

I’m definitely dropping FENRIS V2 soon enough and you will be able to get it in white!
@@FjordFuzzoh yaaaaaay! :D
@@FjordFuzz Good to hear! I was looking for a super fuzz type of pedal and found your products, looking forward to the Fenris V2!
@@FjordFuzz yes please!
Ordered as a replacement for my Swollen Pickle. I wonder if you can use a boost pedal with this without it killing my cab...
This thing is nasty. Gonna have to scoop one and see how it sounds when I drive my tubescreamer into it 😎
Sounds amazing - proper speaker shredding fuzz! Not clear what all the knobs do though?
NVM - I've read the 'more details' now :)

sounds like it's in the room next door. Does it have to sound a muddy mush?
Yeah sorry, poor recording is to blame mostly!
There are two kinds of fuzzes - those that make musical tones - and those that make weird noises. I don't hear any musical possibilities here...

@@FjordFuzz truly diplomatic response to a somewhat harsh opinion. Godfrey should probably define “music” before he tries to define “musical”.
