Jason, good tips! Righteous beard! Bought a crown vic (P71) from a used car dealer. Service tag of municipality it was from was in the door. I called. Long story short... Found out what the dealer had paid for the car. Turns out they didn't make much money off of me. When you consider what they did to get the car from out of state etc... it wasn't a bad deal. Very positive experience.

Carfax is not all that . Sometimes a car will be fixed and never be reported to Carfax by some off the wall garages .

Going to give this to my father in law who'd but any turd that feel in his lap but a part 2 might be nice... Like what to listen for while driving. How to tell if the engine has been rebuilt or if it has been wrecked. Feel of the drive... Things like that.
