The “Something Has To Change” part because I like to live my life by playing it safe so I don’t get “hurt” or make a “mistake” so I over and over like the same things because I know they’ll never disappoint yet they still do because deep down inside my soul I want something to CHANGE for once, I always think it might be a man or love that’ll come along into my life and change it but I know it’s me that has to change, not expect it to change on its own...

This song really hits me in my heartpit, the routine feelings and not noticing youre doing the same things over and over, and when you do notice it feels too late, I keep falling in love with my ex but Im not doing anything to ease that pain or change something anything.
