@@azcardinalsletsgoteam6537You’re just regurgitating that pablum fed to you by other haters who can’t afford a good pedal. Look at pro guitarists’ boards and keep telling yourself they “don’t sound right.” I have FIVE Strymon pedals on my main board, and they all sound awesome (which is why people with money buy them).
This is the third or fourth demo of this pedal I've seen. It has a subtle quality to it and should be a top 5 univibe before to long. Love the deep rich sound.
thanks Mike for an actually VERY useful demonstration, that makes even strymons demo's seem weak. :) I can actually KNOW what I'm purchasing from Strymon here, and it makes me fall in love with it! Would love to have you do a demo for my products!
I have a stack of pedals that I bought (including strymons) and the one thing I have learned is that don't expect your pedal to sound like the one on the demo's. I have a very simply sound and its mostly R&B. Every demo you hear has distortion in the playing. I have great equipment and I know this guy is using a boost pedal somewhere. Forty more dollars you can get the Dry Bell V3 Vibe machine and get a better sound. Don't get me wrong I have a strymon in my pedal line up, but I had to get another pedal to enhance that one's features. My rule of thumb ...less pedals and more ability will make you sound better.
So, when are there gonna be comparison between this and few analog optical vibes? This seems lacking something(I guess it's very obvious what it is.. It sounds good yeah, for sure, but Vibe, no cigar!
Bought one, used it less than a dozen times at home and it just stopped working. It would appear that Strymon may have a quality control issue. Was considering changing all my pedals to Strymon, that decision has now been reversed.
I’m a huge Strymon fan, but this one…, hmmm. I never thought I’d say this about a Strymon product, but I’m a little underwhelmed. The demo is great as always, of course. 😊
Seems like one of those that you don't notice until you turn it off. I'm totally content with the limited controls on the Deco that can get me a vintage vibrato sound though
Look. Strymon does quality pedals. This sounds like a high quality UniVibe style digital pedal. But. I'm not hearing the mojo of, say, a Sabbadius. Of say, a Shin-ei. It's not doing that special thing that hits the spot. It's not a knock on Strymon. It's like the Strymon Deco. Nice pedal - about as good as you'll otherwise get. But. Is it going to touch an actual tape delay. Mofo no! Mofo no!
I would respectfully disagree. I’ve owned both the white and blue versions of the Deja Vibe, the blue being far superior to the white. The only real difference from a sonic standpoint between this and the Deja Vibe (blue) is the lack of the rocker pedal for sweeping speed changes. That being said, it does appear that you can add an expression pedal to this do I would imagine that will resolve any differences between the two. I also think this will be far move versatile if you needed it.
Changing White Wedding into a Chris Isaak type song, pure creative genius!
Exactly ❤
Strymon hust never sounds right
@@azcardinalsletsgoteam6537every strymon pedal I’ve played is beautiful especially the deco

One of the best demos of this pedal I have seen
I’m sold. In over 30 years of playing, I’ve never owned a Univebe style pedal. Never got around to it but I am getting this one.
this seems like a great choice for having a solid vibe and not paying an arm and leg for it.
Agreed🤘🏼
Sweet! Strymon does it again. ANOTHER great demo, Mike. Always so thorough.
Lucy in the Sky with Strymon!
The worm hole of modulation and time continuum never cease to amaze me

You can tell that without playing it?
there are so many vibes 😭
Well, it’s a nice day for a white wedding, or a purple pedal! Great demo Mike, pedal sounds really good.
Great channel, you should have 10-100x more subscribers!
Man your playing is so clean and nice! I was hoping you would demo this pedal🙂 Great job 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
Did strymon really just drop a new pedal!? Omg pinch me I'm dreaming 🤩

Great playing as ever 👏
Pretty cool Bias switch smart
Awesome pedal Strymon 😀
Great playin Mike thanks
Chewy goodness😎👍👍
😎✌👍❤🖖
Hey Little Strymon, what have you done?
I need a shoot out this vs the pedal pawn gypsy vibe.
the best demos on youtube!
do you play front of the amp or in the effects loop?
I wondered when they might come out with a uni-vibish pedal. It's about time!!!!!
Mike your a damn genius. Love ya man.White wedding. WOW.
I'd like to hear a demo utilising the stereo to see if it adds any dimension.

My Deja-Vibe does just fine. What we really want is an oil can delay in this line from Strymon.
I've owned a deja-vibe, as well. Unfortunately, this digital Strymon alternative wipes the floor with it.

Sounds like a Chorus-UniVibe.

Not even slightly close to the Fulltone deja vibes

It's a digital recreation I don't want it
