I’m planning on starting a business to spread awareness on Afro Latinos, the Caribbean, pacific Island’s, etc. basically places that do not get taught in school. I am 17 years old and I’ve always wanted to start young so after college when I get my business degree and become a cultural anthropologist I can have experience and keep the t shirts going. Tracie I have started my T Shirt business called Pop Flow Tees. The reason for starting it was because I want cool and pop Tees plus other apparel that my daughter can wear. However I want to add in some spiritual tees as well that she will wear and transcend across that adults will also want to wear. What do you think? Or any thoughts on this.

Hi, how are you? I just recently was speaking with a friend and in conversation I mentioned I just got a cricut machine she got real excited and said “ oh you can make T-shirts”? ( now I was planning to start small ( project wise) and build up. But her husband is in a local band ( think bar bands how they are locally famous) she wants me to make band /mercy shirts. As well as the fact of making other bands /friends of hers shirts. I said let me explore and see if I can do it. I really want to. This can be VERY good for me. But I have no idea what to do!! Please ANYTHING you can suggest a video ( how to) where’s the best place to get bulk supplies do I buy a heat press (any suggestions) or can I use an iron? Pricing? I’m excited but terrified. Does shopify still only leave you 30% when you ship everything yourself? I cant see how its possible to make a profit if they leave you only 30%, and after you buy the shirts and pay shipping. You only make a dallor off 1 shirt or something like that. Thats what I dont understand.

Hi! Thank you! Possibly sublimation which I’m not the most familiar with- I use vinyl. I do have information in the drop down description box below this video for purchasing info on Amazon.
i would say test it out with a inkjet printer. From there I would look into sublimation as Tracie said, but it has its limits it can't be used on dark garments, but you can also look into DTG.

@@o.g.-reala3326 it's not that expensive but I've you want to protect your brand it's best that you file so that no one can steal you design although that doesn't keep them from doing so you can always send a cease and desist letter for them to stop using your work. I as well have a t-shirt business and I've been seeing this done all the time
