I tell my wife, when she is shopping alone, to keep a CC, DL, in one pocket, and cash, checks in another. Carry a pocketbook / purse with old keys, fake id, a wallet, brush, makeup and other crap. Nothing that is any good, no real names, address, nothing that works, even an old crap cleared cell phone.
We're loving how your channel is taking off! You've got a lot of great experience to share, and obviously it's resonating with your audience. Have you ever read "Left of Bang"? I haven't yet but intend to this winter. It's about situational awareness, but "pro level" as I understand it anyway. I'd be curious if you have read such things, if you would consider doing reviews of such titles as someone who has been in serious situations and some of the more dangerous combat scenarios in modern times.
And I may review them. I’m not sure. There’s a lot of topics to cover in the next month. I MAY plan a weekly livestream for that. It depends on what happens with my schedule.
Been carrying an extra toss wallet for 30+ years when I started working grave yard and had to take busses. Never had to use it but I think it gives me an edge. Especially good when traveling overseas!
I think it would be a good idea to just have it in your pocket what ever place you travel. Even in "nice areas" like Beverly Hills people get robbed. Easy to just rob and get on the freeway and be gone. So, don't be lulled into thinking it is safe just because the area is pretty and seems ok
When I had to walk to my car after work especially in the winter when it was dark I always carried a lunch bag that looked like a cute purse. I figure I could toss that to someone & run. By the time someone figured all they had was an empty lunch bag I’d be gone. My purse was secured under my backpack. My car was in a secured parking garage.

Yep. I’ve read Left of Bang. Good book. I’d recommend “The Gift of Fear” first. Left of Bang will make more sense after that.

I keep a drop wallet as well. If someone comes to look for troube im going to take this out and drop it pull my piece and good night nurse
I can understand that mentality as well. Just remember, a lot of things can happen once the piece comes out…none of them are good. Stay safe!
Good one
