Krishana is the truth... After meddling in everything, I've finally found shelter and peace in his lotus feet. It was a really long journey...20 years... reading every holy book from the Quran to the bible ... taking knowledge from different sages ...I wandered like a thirsty man in the endless desert....and now I can rest in peace ... Believe me, despite being a Hindu brahmin, I never believed my parents' teaching ...I wanted to explore by myself... I wanted to experience the same awakening that Buddha and many other sages had experienced years before... so I tried every possible way whether it was mentioned in Hinduism or not ... but I never got the thing I was searching for...a freedom from my desires, a freedom from the eternal slavery of lust, greed, and affection... I used to look down on Bhakti Yoga...I thought how mere chanting a name could give me my long-cherished freedom... But one day I watched a video on youtube ... joyful dance of Hare Krishna devotees... I felt happy and relaxed...and clear-headed ...so I started to watch one video daily and after seven days ... I went to a barbershop and got my hair cleaned keeping a small weird looking tail like my father ... and I started living like a Bhramchari ( celibate) ...and I started to chant Krishana name... And my long-cherished wish was granted to me ... I was amazed... I thought how foolish I was... the treasure was buried under my hut ...and I was living a beggar's life ... Maybe many of you may think I'm trying to convert or coax you ...but believe me, listen to Krishna Kirtan (not songs composed by professional singers for earning money) and you will feel the ecstasy...and bliss may Prabhu Hari... show you the path... The history texts of Indian schools deliberately avoided the great Hindu Kings, Queens and Puranas. Sadly we are thought of of those who invaded this country as heros by christian missionaries and Muslim communities.
